[ID: A digital illustration of Katara from Avatar: the Last Airbender. She’s shown from the shoulders upwards from a profile view. She’s smiling and looking slightly upwards. She has the mark of the brave on her forehead, white earrings on, and her hair loopies are braided. End ID]
ive been trying to get all my school work done before winter break so i haven’t had a lot of time for art, but here’s a katara that i managed to draw in what time i did get. idk why but drawing katara is always such a comfort to me… i always fall back to drawing her when i don’t feel like thinking about what i’m drawing so much.

The visual of the Harkonnen/Sardaukar bodies being burned in piles at the end of the film not only function as a mirror to the beginning (where House Atreides suffered that fate) to demonstrate how monstrous Paul had become, but it also showed how much he had dragged the Fremen with him in that they were cremating instead of reclaiming the water of their enemies (even if Harkonnen water isn't exactly potable).

Today in obscure Doctor Who jokes:
Somebody on Twitter pointed out that the Big Finish companion Hex is canonically from the year 2021, so when he occasionally abbreviates the word "suspicious" to "sus," it's probably an Among Us reference.
The punchline is that this character was actually introduced back in 2004. It was made-up future slang that they happened to get right.
