Within, the tomb's chambers stretch deep into the mountain, their walls lined with niches filled with the dead. The air is heavy with the scent of earth and history, whispering tales of long-forgotten rulers and their eternal resting place. The winding tomb within the mountain is overgrown with the roots that had crept in through cracks in the stone. The ceiling drips with moisture, and the walls are slick with moss, giving the impression that nature itself is reclaiming the space. Some corridors have collapsed, their rubble creating obstacles that had to be navigated carefully.
At the heart of the tomb lays an imposing throne room, its grandeur still evident despite the decay. A stone throne sat atop a dais, flanked by a looming arch.

The mountain barrow tomb juts from the rugged terrain of the mountain's peak, its weathered stones blending with the natural rock formations. Massive stone arches, intricately carved with ancient symbols and motifs, adorned the entrance, creating an imposing yet eerily beautiful facade. The arches loomed overhead, casting long shadows that danced in the flickering light. At the barrow's entrance, a large and ancient door still stands, rusted in place by an age of neglect, guarding the final resting place of the inhabitants of a bygone age.

Harp's Run is prosaic, a home to a handful of families and simple, hard-working folk from the country's heartland. Horses roam free to the East, near the wood, farm animals bah and oink from nearby pens. The only time travelers stop by this sleepy town is on the occasion they need to stop by Clemp's general store to restock on supplies. What could ever go wrong?

The final piece, Cursed City: The Cursed Thrones, awaits. Hi res, gridless, etc on patreon.
Ahead, a towering structure sits at the top of a mount, overlooking the large isle and what remains of its former grandeur. Millenia after the fall of this civilization, the well of power still gives the glimmering jewels set in the rune-laden floor a dull cyan hue. An audience chamber for those who once ruled here, their thrones, crumbling from the slow procession of time still impart a sense of nobility and superiority...
The full, interconnected Cursed City megamap is due for some tailoring and seam-blending, but it'll be hitting the patreon this month.
And now I breathe a long sigh of relief. What a gigantic project to take on, and it's gratifying to see it finished. On to the next one!

The Hag's Hollow 20x26
Mosquitoes flit and buzz around your head, and the soft, marshy loam seems to grab at your boots with every step you take through this fetid cesspool. Legends say that this place was once a font of magical energies, but now calls itself home to a much more sinister presence. Ahead, a towering tree lurches up from the earth, a husk of its former glory, its branches decorated with grim, hanging fetishes. What sort of creature would make this place their home?

Vampire's Abode 25x30
Above ground, the entrance to this dwelling appears to be a simple grave, but for those that pierce the glamour covering it, a much deeper mystery is revealed. A false door at the back of the grave leads to a flight of stairs, and a natural cavern beneath the graves.
The anteroom is littered with bones, chew toys for the first creature of the night the resident keeps to warn of intruders, and to keep meddling peasants at bay. To the left, a passage splits, one way is home to a swarm of bats, the other, a curious underground lake with unmistakable signs of being a bathing and laundering place.
To the right, a small rough-hewn room serves as a stocked wine cellar, and deeper, simple supplies riddled with rats, ready to answer the call of the night should their master call.
And at the rear, a living chamber, stocked with the necessities any Undead could require to amuse oneself during the daylight hours.

A quick and dirty makeover for my end of chapter boss in my Rise of the Runelords game. The Mokmurian boss battle capped the end of this chapter with a climactic and very fun boss battle, and it was quite fun to add some detail to this space.
