Starting a Blog

I'm thinking of starting a blog.

I've wanted to have a blog of my own for the longest time but just never got to do it. It's always just been an idea in my mind, but I recently decided that it's time to actually start doing it! I'm giving it a try!

Does anyone have any tips/ advice on starting a blog? Anything would be hugely appreciated!

the one (perhaps only) thing i’ll always like about growing older and maturing is the never-ending opportunity to develop and refine your personal taste in pretty much anything. fashion, food, music, literature, art, design, furniture: the older you get, the more knowledge, insight and experience you acquire and it all adds up to a treasure of source material to create a new you from. carve, prune, distill, expand, sculpt, evolve - you can recreate yourself always and aging gracefully is all about endlessly enriching yourself through that recreation.

Don’t beat yourself up for where you are. It’s YOUR schedule and everything is right on time.

what am i doing with my life

sometimes i get really frustrated, not just with myself, but also with my life, life in general

i don't know what i'm doing anymore and i can't see where i'm headed and what i'm working towards at all, let alone the why, why am i even doing this?? why am i still here? what am i ACTUALLY DOING with my life? sometimes it really hits me that i'm doing nothing at all, nothing for MYSELF, nothing that genuinely drives me and lights a spark in me... isn't that what motivational people/ inspirational quotes talk about? why don't i feel that? have i ever even had that feeling before? have i ever even had a spark??

Be a bad bitch with a warm heart. It's not cute to be rude and disrespectful. You can be confident, have no tolerance for insults and still be gentle and kind to people who deserve it. This is the dream combination that needs to be mastered.

college is catered towards the able bodied and able minded. school applauds people who can stay up all night, skip meals, and work endlessly. that kind of extreme contribution is expected. why are disabled people being squeezed out of academic institutions? why should I feel inferior because of some arbitrary and ridiculous standard?

pretty shitty how baseline human activities like singing, dancing and making art got turned into skills  instead of being seen as behaviors

so now it’s like ‘the point of doing them is to get good at them’ and not ‘this is a thing humans do, the way birds sing and bees make hives’.

i really hate myself right now i hate where i’m at in my life i hate what im doing i hate my environment i hate me.
