THE ANGST SPELLS ARE BACK
So there have been some published content around the concept of Blood Magic, Grim Hollow has it, Critical Role’s Tal’dorei has it, plenty of other homebrewers have it and I can say for certainty I am having it. This is the first of around 15 Hemomancy spells I have in mind to be partnered with a Hemomancy Wizard for my own world (Spoilers) but I thought it would be worth sharing the first of them I made.
-Vampiric Circle-
6th-Level Necromancy (Hemomancy)
Casting Time: 1 action Range: Touch Duration: 1 hour Components: V, S, M (A bowl or plate worth at least 1000gp which is consumed after the spell is cast) Classes: Sorcerer, Wizard
You touch a point and infusing it and an area with a 20-foot radius with power of a vampire, drowning the floor in ichor. While in this area, you and one other creature of your choice gain the following benefits:
Your movement speed increases by 10-feet and does not provoke opportunity attacks while moving within this range
You have advantage on checks to escape the grappled condition and may use your spell modifier instead of Strength or Dexterity.
All your attacks are classed as magical damage and deal an additional 2d10 piercing damage.
As a bonus action, you can reduce this area by 5-feet, absorbing the ichor to gain 2d8 temporary hit points.
You may choose as a bonus action to change what creature gains the benefits of this spell, provided you can see them, and they are within area of this spell. If you or the other chosen creature reduce a creature to 0 hit points that was not a construct or an ooze that is within this spell’s range, the radius increases by 10 feet.

I did another thing
So... I have been awfully quiet again.
This time for good reason, I have been working on some possible homebrew to be publish (with pages and art and everything AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA). That and I have been moving about at finishing Uni offically finally and working on getting my own space. And hopefully after that point I hope to expand my wares for DnD and as a DM for my players.
Don’t worry your long awaited dose of homebrewery and stupidity is on its way. In the mean I thought I would share alittle art I have for a NPC/ possible BBEG (Depending on whose side the party is on). I present Madame Stitch, the Fortune Maker (Is it obvious I only have the one red marker?)
She is a high level caster and believed to be a hag amongst the party. She intorduced herself by forcing the party to give her a sample of their own blood to ensure loyalty when she called in a favour from the Guild they worked at. And to those who ask... she’s 7ft 4.
I know its not the greatest art in the world but I liked it and feels it truly represents an improvement in my own skill (I legit was in call with one of my more arty friends and we spent an hour gushing on how well tha hands came out)
But I hope you like it and hope you an encourage youse to go pick up a pen if you haven’t drawn in a while and try to have fun with it you might be surprised.

In celebration of Fizban’s Treasury of Dragons ever so approaching release date, more options to become a motherf*ckin’ Dragon.
Little fact about me. When I was merely a young Creatureflix before I earnt my doctorate in Monstrous Science at the Monroe Bestiary University (Definitely 100% real), I used to be really obsessed with dragons to the point  wished I could be one... and still am to an extent... I mean, you sleep all day on hordes of treasure and can fly away from your issues, that sounds like a dream to me (Stupid mortal body).
Anywho, while I was writing something cool, I took a break to make a Draconic Patron for a warlock so you can actually become a dragon. And with Fizban’s Treasury of Dragons coming out in a couple months I thought I would share my love for the scaled flying semi-immortal war machine demi-gods.
Hope you all like it and if you have any thoughts, criticisms or if you have used it let me know. And a further question; what is your favourite dragon?
Edit: The class page has been changed due to error in creation, the one shown below is the accurate one created.

Out of Context Quotes From My Past Few Campaigns
These are not from one single campaign nor just from me myself alone and the ones I did say I am not sorry for.
Bonus Action Suplex.
Can I get sexy advantage?
Are you sure this is not your p*ss?
While we are running I am gonna note the poor low bearing beam for my report.
DOES ANYONE IN HERE HAVE A YELLOW HAT?
Jokes on you, I’m into acid damage.
I’ll go get the emotional support rock.
Did somebody say riot?
I would like to punt this kobold off my leg into the dock.
If you need me I will be outside burning bodies and reading comics.
This is my companion, she is friends with me due to her guilt cause she shot me during a blizzard.
I make my raven breath lightning.
Does it at least look passable as a tramp stamp?
Is there a Power Word Yeet?
I persuade him to eat the dirt.
I swing my sickle, I am not a communist.
I am not going down on that.
*anything Valley says* (If you wanna hear any of it, come watch our Direwater on CreativeRogue’s discord channel-https://discord.gg/uhWfP8A , wink wink, nudge nudge)
Either therapy or 8d6 fire damage, you pick.
Would it be rude to ask Tiamat for belly rubs right now?

More Family Friendly Content: The Hag Bone Disease
The Hag Bone disease, also known as the Coral Bone or Bonemelt disease, believed to originated from a out of control curse or spell in the Feywild, the disease causes the infected to grow 1 mm of bone on a random joint of the body each day, eventually after a year these bone growths begin to break through the skin, causing further infection, following this the infected must make a DC 10 Constituion saving at the start of the day or they are paralysied for 24 hours in which they repeat the save, if additional infection does not kill the infected, after another agonising 3 months the bone growths will eventually grow around vital organs, the infected must make a DC 15 constitution saving throw each day or the protrusions begin to pierce or crush vital organs, removing vital bodily functions, killing the infected.
Known methods of Infection: Through infected particulates in water droplets, phyiscal interaction with undead that were previously infected (Including bites and scratches), high level curses. Following this, the disease has a rougly 2 weak incubation before symptoms are displayed.
Early Symptoms: Fatigue, Un-explainable Weight increase, Paralysis, Loss of vocal function Visible Symptoms: Callous Skin around joints, Limb abnormalities, Bone protrusions
Known Cures: A 5th-level Remove Curse or Dispel Magic renders the disease operable. All growths/ protrusions must be removed to the fullest extent, via shaving or burning the protrusios away, the patient must be pass a DC 10 Constitution saving throw during the procedure or take 10d10 psychic damage as the internal shock and blood loss causes the heart to collapse. This treatment can take up to 5 hours. People previously infected and cured are immune to this disease.
I made this for a player on Creative Rogues Discord and thought you all should be subjected to it as well. By all means tell me what you think.

I did a thing
A while back I did a commission for a friend. He needed a piece for a dragon that was part of an apocalypse with 3 other monsters all created by a god of destruction. He liked it, I like it and he has given me premission to let me show to youse in hope you like it. I will say I ran out of ink a lot during this, life is expensive as a student. So tell me your thoughts? Whats some memorable dragons from your own campaigns?

Mimics
Why don’t mimics turn into coins or food? Why not stairs? Like I am gonna be more surprised and terrified if I am enjoying a chicken leg if it bit me back or if I have to run the gauntlet of getting attacked up a flight of steps during a pub crawl when I am in desperate need a crap. DMs make your mimics into stairs.

I like Dice. I want to show Dice
These are my two favourite dice sets I have. Both were custom and WAY too much money spent on them for me to hardly use during the pandemic so I thought why not show them of. (Also apologises for the rubbish pic quality, I am merely a broke uni student)
The ones on the left are actually my newest set I bought in line with my bladesinger for CreativeRogues campaign. The yellow colouring you see in them are liquid glitter cores and they shimmer and sparkle and the paint on the numbers is irridescent and are so pretty AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA (I think I might be a reincarnated magpie). They were from a store called DiceofManySides on etsy. (Link: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/DiceofManySides?ref=yr_purchases)
The ones on the right are still my favourite for the sheer fun I have had with them. These are what I call my gravedigger dice as they have bloodied skulls in them and please my inner edgy boy. and are chonky boys, they have a nice weight to them when in hand. They are also sadistic and roll consistently high when I DM, guessing they just not like my players. They were also from a etsy store called HoneyRollDice (link: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/HoneyRollDice?ref=yr_purchases)
So what did think? Which do you prefer? Have you bought from these shops before? Do youse have a favourite set(s), if so show them off and please the hoarder in me.

A List of random books to read in DnD
Some random books to fill store shelves while the wizard is calculating the prices of his spell scrolls and the bard is busy deciding on smut. Oh look, theres 20 of them so you can roll for them as well.
1. Malvandi’s Codex Gigantius (A book talking about the history of a god of monsters and the largest known creatures in the world. Partially based on something I am working on) 2. Court of Dragons (A history of the dragons within the nine hells) 3. Pennyfool’s guide of travelling meals (A halfing size cookbook about foraging and hunting food and about keeping costs of meals cheap while out adventuring) 4. Familiar Fruition and Folly (Guidelines for looking after familiars of all kinds)  5. Vorai’s Visual Artesty of the Arcane (A self help book for casters to help make spells feel unique with visual flair and improving their technique while improving themselves) 6. Uracks Buuk of Hitting Stuff, sixth edition (A best selling book about the art of war by a fairly new ork author) 7. Within Fortune’s Favour (A rachy tale of a preist of Avandra being seduced by a domineering baron) 8. A Helpful guide of Necromancy, third edition (A more simplistic guide for beginning casters wishing to learn nercomancy, weirdly banned in many cities) 9. Understanding Abberations with Sindril (A history of the emergence of abberations in the mortal plane and breakdown of their cultures and language, requires three eyes minimum or psionic understanding to read) 10. The Fungus Amongus (Another halfing cookbook about culviatating roots and fungi for brews and stews,) 11. In the Mirrors of the Raven (A supposedly non-fiction telling of an adventurer’s time within the Raven Queen’s Palace) 12. The Wicked thorns of Misteltoe (A fictional story of a god falling in love with a mortal that is fated to be their death, quite popular with the younger generations) 13. Beside Drakes, second edition (A guide of raising dragons and realising them into the wild, all editions and copies weirdly always seemed charred alittle) 14. Curses and Me (A self-help book about living with curses and eventually breaking them, popular with those that travel the planes alot) 15. Arcane under Hammer and Anvil: An Advanced Dissection of spell crafting (A large tome for more advanced casters that wish to craft their own spells) 16. Far away and back again (A tale of one Dragonborn’s travels into the Far Realms) 17. In defence of the Sinful (A documentation discussing the gods usually deemed ‘evil’ and the unfortunate nescessity of them, very unpopular despite being a compelling read) 18. A Village Fools Tome of the Tarrasque (A simple understanding of the anatomy of a Tarrasque and best defensive measures against one, though its unknow if these measures have ever been used.) 19. Stengthening Strings of Music (A music book explaining the use of rhythum of music to cast spells) 20. Material and Magic (A documentation of the process of creating magical items)
This list was inspired by a random question on @creativerogues discord channel. If you want to partake in such random lists or want to play a game online head over to https://discord.gg/uhWfP8A and jpin the fun.

Showing off my newest character
Tumblr has informed me that I have been making stuff for my page for a year now so I thought I would show off my current character I am playing, Maul Esvelgr (Male Eladrin Wizard).
Tumblr media
He is a training wizard of the school of bladesinging that worships the norse god Odin after recieving a vision of Ragnarok. His favoured spells is Murder of Crows, a fun version of Magic Missile that fires spectral birds from his hands instead of darts (and definitely not based off of the Murder of Crows vigor from Bioshock shhhhh...) and Find Familiar to make a Raven companion out of respect to a raven that saved him from a giant (And fits with the whole Odin worshipping ordeal). If you want you can listen to his misadventures with an albino teifling ranger and a Dragonborn Revenant Beserker over at Creativerogues Discord linked below:
https://discord.gg/uhWfP8A
Where me, @creativerogues and numerous other DMs host games for fellow members to you can join or just enjoy listening to. Like Rogues high fantasy game of Shattered Souls or another fellow DM’s game (His name is literally Dog online) of shenanigans deep in the astral plane, or my own dark fanatsy, more mature campaign Darkness over Direwater.
And if you like the artwork below of Maul and are on Creative Rogues Discord, you can commission an art piece from me there as it is the server that gave me the courage to start drawing again. Or you can contact me directly at my email for my commission prices at: [email protected] Alternatively you can contact one of my fellow artists on the discord for commission work or follow the links below for their own commissions and content. Such as Joesph and Panni’s Lawn’s Patreon (https://www.patreon.com/Artblockonthefrontlawn) for their numerous craft videos and other comical content. Or the highly talented digital artist RIPesto who you see here on their twitter (https://twitter.com/LiveAnke/media).

WAND OF THE HARLEQUIN
Wand, Common 1lb (Cost: 500gp)
Commonly used by more magically adept theatre performers, this red and black checker pattern wand produces comical sounds usually for enhancing slapstick.
This wand has 4 charges and regains all charges at dawn. You can expend one charge to create a loud sound within 60-feet of you that can be heard up to 100-feet away. You can also expend 2 charges to cast the spell ‘dissonant whispers’ making embarrassing sounds around the target rather than a discordant melody. After the last charge has been expended, roll a d20 and if it lands on a 1 it crumbles into dust while the sound of trombone plays. For when you party already has a Wand of Smiles.

A list of backstory starters
I thought I would throw out some starting points to hopefully inspire some backstories. If you come up with any please let me know.
I was someone... once...
I was a highwayman until that one carriage, I didn’t mean what happened...
Conflict does something to you, I was not the same after I returned from the war...
I did not know how to explain my friend’s death to his [BLANK]...
For the youngest I could remember, always wanted to become a doctor...
The more the churches coven shunned us from [BLANK], the more I wanted it...
I was desperate for gold, so I decided to use my skills the local gang...
Our village revolted against the local baron, I remember his children’s faces when broke through...
The called me insane for what I did, I hope they were right...
The captain was mad but with the other ship on our tail we had no choice...

New Artifact: The Book of Invasions
I had this idea for this after reading about the irish mythology around the Book of Invasions, a fictional history of the first settlers of ireland. This in turn made me want to make my own version. This is designed more towards my own homebrew but I am not beyond some sharing. So try it out and tell me what dastardly plans you would do with this.
Komanderendetum, The Book of Invasions
(Requires Attunement)
The Book of Invasions is a forever expanding book as it catalogues its use throughout the ages, though its original author is unknown though a follower of the lore gods is believed to be to have some involvement due to their domain over history. It is commonly described to have a metal cover made from fallen warriors and is written in ink reconstituted from family crests of houses that failed to stand against the book. The front cover bears the gnawing shield seal of the Arvsspisere Company, the Legacy Eaters. Supposedly just holding this book makes creatures have an urge to respect you as if you were a high-rank military officer.
Attunement of this book requires the reader to spend 80 hours to read, digesting the historical contents and to gain the benefits this book gives. Any creature of a chaotic alignment that attempts to read the book or attune to it must make a DC 20 Charisma saving throw or they switch to a lawful alignment. Attunement grants the following benefits:
-Increased Charisma. After you spend the requisite amount of time reading and studying the book, your Charisma score increases by 2, to a maximum of 24. You cannot gain this benefit from the book more than once. -Random Properties. The Book of Invasions has the following random properties.
2 minor beneficial properties
1 major beneficial property
1 minor beneficial property
-Mantle of Leader. You gain an ethereal symbol of leadership, it can be a spectral cape that billows by itself, your armour possesses a heavenly glow, your skin is emblazoned with the Seal of the Legacy Eaters or any other mark the DM chooses. With this mantle, you have advantage on history checks about knowledge of battles and conflict. -Commanding Presence. Anyone within 30 feet of you cannot be charmed or frightened by spells unless you allow it. Anyone that attempts to inflict the charmed or frightened condition within 30 feet of you takes 2d6 psychic damage. -Commanding Tone. You can cast the ‘command’ spell (save DC: 18) at will at a level equal to half your Charisma modifier. -The Legacy Eaters. Once per year you can perform a ritual to call forth the Legacy Eaters. The Book of Invasions states what the ritual’s semantics are. This ritual must be performed at night and to be performed at the shore of an ocean. The components are gold or precious gems that totals up to 100,000 gold which is consumed as the ritual starts and takes two hours to perform. If you are interpreted during this ritual, you must make a Constitution saving throw (save DC: 18) to continue the ritual. Upon compilation of the ritual, 1d6 +1 galleons bearing the insignia of the Legacy Eaters will be brought to this plane from the ocean its shore the ritual was performed on. Each ship holds 50 Legacy Eater Soldiers, 2 Captains, 2 Shamans, 1 General and 1 War brute (All listed below) and has supplies to make camp for them. You choose the looks of the army though the soldiers most commonly appear humanoid with blue gel-like skin with a singular eye within their head. This small selection of the Legacy Eaters is loyal to you alone and will follow your commands. If a member of the army (minus the generals or the war brutes) dies, they will revive themselves at the next day’s dusk. If you or all the general’s die, the army disbands and returns to their plane. The army disappears after a year unless you perform the ritual again at the same shore you summoned them from. The army will disappear early  if some else attunes to the book while they are summoned, if the book is destroyed or if the book is dropped to the bottom of the ocean where the army was summoned. You may only attempt this ritual once per year.
Destroying this book. It is believed Book of Invasions cannot be destroyed or damaged as long as conflict between two beings exists. However, it is believe bringing to a celestial being serves the Word Spinner such as a Solar or the Word Spinner himself can erase the books contents for 1d100 years.

Final Post of the Year, a new subclass
Tumblr media
To send the year off I have made my (probably not) final subclass, for those who wished fight with flair, invigourating their allies, insulting their foes and finally, to have a paladin that can smite at a range. What a weird year this has been and hopefully the new year will not end as lackluster as this one.
Thanks again to the Homebrewery for the page design and thecreativerogues discord for helping me put some final touches on it.
And thank you, for sticking with me throughout this year, I have some plans for next year, hopefully if I get enough people behind it we can get it off the ground.
