The farewell ceremony for the leaders of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
This morning, January 21, people gathered in Kyiv to say goodbye to the leaders of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and civil servants of the National Police who died in the helicopter crash in Brovary.
President Volodymyr Zelensky came to the farewell ceremony together with his wife Olena. The presidential couple did not hold back tears.
The tragedy happened in the morning of January 18 in Brovary. The helicopter in which the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was flying fell on a kindergarten.
As a result of the plane crash , the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denys Monastyrskyi , First Deputy Yevhen Yenin, Secretary of State Yuriy Lubkovich, as well as Deputy Head of the Patronage Service Tetyana Shutyak, Chief of the Department of Protection of the Department of Internal Security of the NPU, Lieutenant Colonel of the Police Mykhailo Pavlushko, Senior Operational Commissioner for Specially Important Cases of the Department of Internal Security died as a result of the plane crash. NPU Andriy Marynchenko and leading inspector of the Department of Communication of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Mykola Anatskyi.
In addition, one child and her mother died when the helicopter fell on the kindergarten. 25 people were injured, including 11 minors.

As Maria Kamianetska had just finished nursing her newborn baby boy and laid him down to sleep, a missile crashed into the hospital’s maternity hospital in Vilnyansk, a town in Zaporizhzhia. The hospital walls came crumbling down, trapping Kamianetska and her baby in the rubble.

The boy did not live long enough to be given a birth certificate.
