The College of Arts and Sciences (A&S) at Cornell University has awarded $8.3 million to M. Chamot Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology to support his team's research on new battery and fuel cell technologies. The A&S proposal was one of 29 chosen for financing and is the highest sum given to a single department. The additional money will help coordinate research, development, and demonstration efforts to hasten the incorporation of advanced fuel cell and battery materials from Cornell into respective fuel cell and battery powered cars. It will encourage fresh, need-driven basic and applied research in Abrua's labs to achieve this.

This year’s NEET AIR 1 hails from Haryana and secured a stellar score of 715/720 in the NEET exam. Tanishka’s achievements are even more commendable as she also secured a 99.50 percentile in the JEE Mains exam. Tanishka did not opt for mathematics in class 10th& 12th and attempted the JEE math section purely based on her understanding till class 10th. She claims to have attempted the math section only towards the end. She found the Physics and Chemistry section inline with the NEET exam. Her score in the JEE exam gave her a much-needed boost for the NEET exam.
