This Valentines Day I want to give a shout out to my dad who, after going on a date with my mom, bought her a whole case of bottled water and left it (with no note or anything) at her dorm door because, in his opinion, she drank a lot of water during their date and he thought she really loved water.

last night i had a dream and Josh Hutcherson was in it,,

we were having some kind of party and he came to sit down at our table and as soon as he did I turned to the person sitting next to me and whispered, "Smash."

Happy 1 month anniversary to the FNAF movie.

Also what the fuck was up with that movie? I was supposed to be scared throughout it but I was just fucking horny as hell.

So,, saw the FNAF movie...

I've been following this franchise since like,, the first game and even though it was never like a HUGE fixation that lasted super long, it was still something I thoroughly enjoyed. I'd watch all of Mark's videos every time they came out, fan game or not, and was religiously watching Matpat's theories because I just thought they were so cool and well thought out.

Anyways, when the game first came out and I was just getting into it, I was in middle school (I think) and I grew up religious so my mom naturally hated the game. She hated the game and she hated Markiplier and I remember I hated her for it because at the time I was a big fan and I loved Markiplier. I don't know how she found out about it but as soon as she heard "killing kids" and "horror" it was over.

And I remember always being so jealous every time I saw someone with FNAF merch because I wanted merch so badly but I wasn't allowed to get it. And to run salt into the wound, I always saw kids who were younger than me with the merch, and that made me even more upset because I was like, "Why do kids younger than me get to enjoy the game so freely? Why aren't their parents concerned about the content they're consuming?"

Flash forward all these years and now I'm twenty, I've got my own money, got FNAF merch for the first time ever, and got to go see the movie with my sister. Had this movie come out years earlier, I guarantee you there was absolutely no chance of me seeing it in theaters.

In the week leading up to today, I've been listening to FNAF fan music nonstop and that just made me all the more hyped for the movie. Seeing everyone else who grew up with the game and making their posts about how they're seeing this movie for that kid just got me all emotional because today I went to go see that movie for the struggling, angry, confused middle schooler who would indulge in the silly little animatronics and watch the silly man scream at them just to feel a little happy.

Let me tell you, 11-year-old me enjoyed that movie so much. It felt like a piece of me was put to rest, as cheesy as it is (and fitting for this franchise) but I had an absolute blast.

Go see the movie and obligatory "IS THAT THE BITE OF 87'??" picture :)
