beauty sleep - so important for ensuring you get enough energy throughout the day. it also reduces stress and the risk of diseases.
nourishing diet - you really are what you eat. your body must stay nourished so try to avoid processed and sugary foods as much as possible. opt for healthy foods instead that are full of nutrients. having a healthy diet will make you glow from the inside and out, and you will have so much more energy too.
let the sunshine in - vitamin d from the sun makes you glow. it kills bacteria, reduces high blood pressure, boosts your mood and more. spend some time outside reading, walking or journaling. it’s very therapeutic, but don’t forget the spf!
journal - although this isn’t a must, i found it to be so very useful in expressing my emotions in a healthy way. it lets me reflect and grow as a person, and this is very important in order to evolve. your mind & soul are just as important as your body, so make sure it is a safe space.
movement - exercise increases dopamine and will improve your mood at an instant. also, it tones your body keeping it fit and healthy. whether it’s pilates, walking, dancing, or swimming, you will never regret moving your body. it truly teaches discipline, instills wellness and confidence. 🧘♀️
hobbies and passions - in a world where we are constantly busy studying or working, it’s important to take some time doing something simple that we love just for ourselves. it could be cooking, knitting or singing, having a relaxing hobby will make for quality alone time.
love, love & keep on loving - spread love, especially to your loved ones. show your care and appreciation for people, as well as life. take deep breaths throughout the day to remind yourself of what you’re grateful for and fill your relationships with laughter, compassion and deep fun conversations. this is truly what will make your life memorable and fulfilling. at the end of the day, we are social creatures and connecting with others is essential. 🩷
