TOP 10 ANIMANGA ON AO3 BASED ON NUMBER OF FANWORKS (2009-2022)
To make this bar chart race, all series titles in the Anime & Manga Category on December 4 (or the closest date to it) of every year were copy-pasted from Wayback Machine to Google Sheets, rearranged according to number of fanworks, and then inputted to Flourish to turn into a bar chart race. November 2022 is basedon November 11, 2022 data.
Miraculous Ladybug was actually in the top 10 Anime & Manga from 2016-2021, before it was finally removed from the Animanga category in 2022. I’m excluding it in the rankings since it shouldn’t have been in the animanga category in the first place.
CLAMP - Works was actually in 9th place in December 2013, but too many series were moving up and down the rankings at the time so it was impossible to catch a glimpse of it.
