was watching shogun and was like huh this a bit like black sails but like it's not really is it?? makes me sad cos black sails was such a undervalued bright spot in coincidental representation and anti colonialist themes hidden within an 'action show' and no it's not comparable to whatever latest historical action shows they give a modicum of depth to gone but not forgotten 😭✌️
