Hello! I'm just here to ask on what would happen if someone misspelled their email on an application, and the email wouldn't work? Would it be a situation where they'd be contacted through a social media they have if they didn't respond? Or is their application just dismissed? (Genuinely curious, been thinking about this for a bit.)

Hello there, friend! ☀️

In the case we have a bounced or rejected email, we'll be reaching out to the applicant via one of the social media accounts they provided! If an applicant does not receive their email response (either in their inbox or spam!) within 48 hours of us announcing when they're sent, they can message us directly! From there, we'll be able to resend their results to them individually.

Be sure to keep an eye out on our socials for when emails are sent out; they'll be coming soon!

Hiii what is a zine? This all looks really interesting but I'm a bit confused on what it is

Hiya there, friend! ☀️

A zine is an unofficial collection of works based on a topic, character, or franchise that isn't moderated by its original creator(s). It is defined on our Carrd as the following:

A fanzine is a non-professional and non-official publication produced by fans in the form of a collection of fan works focused on a specific fandom, character, or ship. Typically, publishers, editors, writers and other contributors of articles or illustrations to fanzines are not paid. The cost of the fanzine for purchase covers production costs and surplus either is donated to charity or split amongst the staff and contributors.

Essentially, over the course of a creation period, artists, writers, and merch artists will come together on a Discord server led by our moderation team to create pieces that will be featured in a physical booklet. From there, we'll open pre-orders for the booklet (containing art and writing) and merch. Afterwards, we order our quantities from manufacturers and quality check them before shipping them out!
