Hello! My first post on the new and nudity pro Tumblr. I thought my first post should be a small collection of some of my favourite pieces which showcase my work, along with a short intro.
So hey! My name is David and I’m predominately a self portrait artist from the UK. I try to explore the human form and it’s connection to our natural environment. Using bleak scenes and exagerrated contorted poses to visualise the internal struggle of the human body and mind.
I’m also a fungi, corvid and foraging enthusiast, pursuing a career in environmental conservation.
I appreciate any follows and reposts and I look forward to engaging with the Tumblr community!

Winter has started in great fashion here in the South East, we got a small dusting of snow which the past few years has been unheard of in December. In light of this have some of my favourite snowy portraits that I've shot over the years.

It's been a frosty few days in the UK this week, so how about throwing it back a few years to my favourite frost scenery. I debate whether frost is more beautiful than snow, that crystaline sheen on the landscape really is something special.

How about a brand new image? I haven't been as productive shooting lately, most of my time in the woods now consists of volunteer work, foraging and collecting slime mold samples. But I couldn't say no this beautiful Autumnal scene just holding on before the throes of winter.

This is a new, old image. I took this back in 2020 and wasn't a fan, recently going through folders I gave it a chance and was pleasantly surprised. It just goes to show your tastes and thoughts on work changes through time and you shouldn't be disheartened if at first you don't like a piece.
