Jenn held out the carabiner in her palm. Without hesitation, Rea reached out for her carabiner and dusted off. "Th-thanks. I can finally, uh, go home now," Rea said stumbling on  her words. She turned around but couldn't take another step. A part of her--the part which despised her parents, which forced her to learn to stand on her own feet, ignoring even after Rea had hitchhiked to Colorado--wanted Jenn to leave her alone.
But there was some part of her feeling sympathy for Jenn, despite for her being a few years older and odd bandages or scarfs covering her arms and eyes. After all, not long ago Rea was also a traveller stumbling along for a new home, a new adventure, a new life. Rea turned around. "Do you need a place to stay?" She asked to Jenn before her independent, selfish side could stop her. "You can sleep at my place for the night."
Jenn listened as the girl picked herself up and brushed her jeans off. she returned her hand to her sides but then soon picked them up again to fiddle with her bandana. Jenn then heard the girl’s heartbeat speed up as she searched for something on the ground… ah probably the carbiner.. right.
"Who are you?" the figure said quietly.
"Ah, well… Uhm I’m just a wandering traveler whose name is Jenn. Jenn Garnett, at your service." She extended her hand with the carbiner, "I-I think you dropped this .."

Rea looked up at the girl’s hand which extended toward her. She ignored the hand and stood up, brushing off her jeans. Rea’s gaze met the girl’s, and Rea felt as if something seemed off about her. She couldn’t quite tell what it was. The wore a scarf tied over her eyes and knotted tightly in the back. Rea also noticed how the girl seemed to react toward sounds rather than any sight, sometimes tilting her ear toward a sound. Rea whipped around, suddenly remembering how the carabiner had fell from her grasp. She scrambled to where she thought she heard it hit. It wasn’t there. Rea frowned at the girl, and curiosity overcame her shyness. “Who are you?” Rea asked quietly.

Rea raced through the splashes of light flowing down from the street lamps. How could I have been so stupid? Now it’s about midnight and I’m freezing in some Colorado city, trapped out of my house. Great! She thought, gritting her teeth. Rea slowed down to a halt by the bus stop and plopped down onto a bench with a groan. I don’t know how I forgot my carabiner, which I use every night for climbing home. Stupid, stupid, stupid Rea! The bus rolled in to the stop. She pulled up the hood on her hoodie, stepping onto the empty bus but hesitantly.
"What is it?" grunted the bus driver. Rea didn’t speak; she never really did. She saw no purpose to it, for she never really had felt the need to say something, to depend on somebody other than herself. Without a word she slipped to the back of the bus, searching under empty chairs. "You need to get off," the driver said, now standing in the aisle. Rea only looked at him. "It’s late at night, nearly midnight, and probably past curfew for a teenager." Rea still said nothing, and a glint of a metal object under a chair caught her eye. "Okay," the driver growled, walking toward Rea, "You have to get off this bus right now, or I am calling the cops."
Rea lunged at the carabiner before bolting out of the bus. The driver, assuming she had stolen something off the bus, leapt out the door to the bus and yelled, “Get back here! You can’t rob me!” Rea turned back as she continued running, only to the driver shaking his head and muttering, “Stupid kids these days.”
Without paying attention to where she was going, she slammed into somebody. Rea landed on the ground, cringing a little, and she could hear the faint clink of the carabiner landing away from her. On the inside, she was freaking out. She felt a little obligated to say something to this poor person who she had flown into, and that was all new to her. Rea stammered, “S-s-sorry.” She looked up at the figure.
“hmmmm…. no that place is dirty… no he is crazy… uhhh, noooo not there..” Jenn muttered to herself, too deep in thought to notice loud soundwaves approaching her fast. “Ooof!” Jenn felt a force knock her down to the ground. at the same time, she heard a little clink nearby her. “S-s-sorry.” Jenn quickly picked herself up and positioned herself to face the stranger on the ground. “Ah! No no it should be me who‘s sorry. Sorry, I should have been paying more attention to my surroundings.” Jenn quickly picked up whatever clicked to the right of her. From the sound and feel of it, it definitely was a carabiner.  “H-here. Its probably not comfy sitting there, eheheh.” Jenn extended her hand to help the stranger up.

Well, first off, hello. I've been roleplaying for a few years now on different forums and games, and this is my first Tumblr roleplay blog. I'm open to most roleplaying in different genres--realistic, fantasy, animals, sci-fi, etc--and I will be more than happy to roleplay with anyone :D
