The Almeida Review
Hey guys, it’s Dandelion here,
Today I’m going to talk about The Almieda, Islington. I would highly recomened this posh, formal restaurant for a cheeky treat.
I’m not going to go to great lengths to explain the high level of food at the Almieda but what I will say is that the service is very good, to give you one example I’ll tell you that the first thing we were asked was “would you like to put your things in our cloakroom?” with a princess hand gesture.
Pretty much seconds after we had been seated, we were asked if we would like some homemade sourdough bread and butter [also homemade] which quite frankly was too good for our own good. We then ordered our starters, english tomato and burratto mozzarella, waldorf salad and crab mayonnaise on toast, triple yum!!!
* I know the tomato salad is amazing but I’m counting on my parents to tell me whether they think the other starters were good, so don’t judge me if they’re wrong!!! They tell me every time they come here it’s faultless!! What more can I say!!

Fredericks lunch review
Yesterday I went to Fredericks, Angel, London, and I have to say it had to be one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to, the waiting staff were welcoming but refined and discreet.
If you’re looking for a treat in a nice restaurant I would say Fredericks  is one of the best, it has a very unique feel to it. Plus bringing the kids couldn’t be easier or better catered for as they provide the full a la carte menu in miniature.Brilliant for kids with a more daring palette.
We were sat in a light open air terrace at the rear of the restaurant, facing a lovely outside area, as soon as we were shown to our seats we were given white cotton napkins, the service was formal, friendly and attentive. soon after being seated we were asked what type of bread we wanted.
Moving on to the food I had a steak with peppercorn sauce and handcut chips [those chips were quite honestly the best i’ve ever tasted 100/5 ]  the steak was cooked well, very tender, yum. My friend had gazpacho and after pan fried salmon with a mango sauce which really set it off, double yum.
Pudding was passionfruit cheesecake and mint tea, which was faultless
