Detox diets
Detox diets come in a variety of forms. Some diets restrict you to only fruits and vegetables, others to only "clean" foods, still others to only fruit and vegetable juice, and still others restrict you to drinking only water. You can also do cleanses that target specific organs, such as the liver, kidneys, blood, or lungs. While most detox diets focus on cleansing the entire body, there are a few exceptions. A seven-day detox diet sample is provided below.
As a first step, it is critical that you maintain regular bowel movements during a detox in order to prevent toxins from being reabsorbed. Drinking lemon water throughout the day is a great way to ensure that you'll be able to go to the bathroom on a regular basis. The fiber in flax seeds and the laxative effect of lemon water make this a good combination for relieving constipation.
On a cleanse, it's also critical to keep hydrated. Make an effort to drink at least eight glasses of water each day to help flush toxins from your system.
Below is a sample detox diet menu for your reference. Beginners may find it easier to stick to a diet that allows them to eat a few treats. Keep in mind that you have complete control over how this is customized to meet your specific requirements.
ABOARD THE RISE
In a small bowl, combine the juice of one lemon and the warm water. Drinking a glass of water with 1 teaspoon of bentonite clay and 1 teaspoon of ground flaxseed
BREAKFAST

SNACKS
Tonic made from Dandelion Root Tea Carrots in Hummus Dip Water milk thistle": a supplement.
DINNER
curried lentils over quinoa; mixed greens with red peppers, artichokes, and sprouts; salad dressing of garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil; vegetable broth;
BEFORE YOU GO TO SLEEP
Drinking a glass of water with 1 teaspoon of bentonite clay and 1 teaspoon of ground flaxseed
Seven days is the maximum amount of time you can keep doing it. You should expect to feel sluggish and slightly unwell, but if you are experiencing severe fatigue or illness, you should seek medical attention.
