Remember, a solarpunk future without support for the disabled population is just green-washed ableism.
A solarpunk future that doesn't include (or purposely excludes) Indigenous/PoC populations is just green-washed white supremacy/colonialism.
A solarpunk future that doesn't feed the hungry or house the poor is just green-washed capitalism.
Solarpunk is more than just an aesthetic. It's a hope for a better future for everyone.

one thing i need to start living by is “become the thing that you want” if i want friends who throw themed parties maybe i should start throwing those parties. if i want someone who writes me love letters maybe i should start writing letters for the people i love. if i want to hang out at museums and pretty cafes maybe i should invite my friends to these places. and maybe even then i won’t find the kind of people i want to be around. but then i would have become the exact person i want to be around. and maybe that’s good enough.

Doyle Canon: This is Dr. John Watson. He has managed to have multiple love affairs on three different continents. He is a love machine. A sex god, if you will. Able to woo multiple Victorian ladies.
80% of Sherlock Holmes Adaptations: This is Dr. John Watson. He looks like a hamster.

Every discord I’ve ever been in has had a pets channel. I like that about humans. Our companions will never understand this form of affection, yet we still love them so much that we make space for them even in a virtual communities. We care regardless of whether it can be understood or returned.

I have a question, is it okay to self diagnose yourself if you've done a lot of research? I currently live in a household where my parents think that there is only low functioning (I'm not sure if that's the correct term, i apologize.) autism and refuse to get me tested. I am 99% sure I'm on the autism spectrum.
((i apologize for any spelling errors i might have made))
Yes! There are lots of ways to be autistic.
(I believe high support needs and low support needs are the generally accepted terms btw :))
