I just finished reading Trepidation and I was wondering, when did Bucky stop loving Dot? Because in the beginning he still loved her, but when did he get completely over her? Would he have taken Dot back in the beginning? And do you think that Bucky was more conscious about how the reader would feel when ever he was interacting with other women after the whole Dot ordeal? Just random inquiries about an older fic

So i went back and reread Trepidation and saw i worded some things wrong. Bucky stopped loving Dot when him and the reader started to talk and hang out. Throughout the fic where it says he still has feelings for Dot, i meant it as he still had love for Dot but that doesn't mean he wanted to get back together with her. They dated for a while, she was (kinda ig) his first love so he'd always have love for her, you know? But throughout the fic when they're constantly hanging out, it's just as friends for him. He then starts seeing her only as his friend, not as someone he previously dated.

When would you say Bucky in Trepidation realized that he was in love with the reader, 'cause in the beginning he thought about how he loved the reader, but was in love with Dot. And when did he stop loving Dot? And do you think he ever wished he was with Dot instead of the reader throughout their relationship, before Dot even came back? Did he prefer Dot over the reader for awhile? Sorry, my brain wants to know- even though the story is old and these things aren't important at all

When she left, i feel, is when Bucky kinda realized that he was in love with her. He knew before that he loved her but didn't know just yet if he was IN love with her but i think her leaving gave him that push to really make up his mind on that and as for Dot, Bucky stopped loving her when the two (bucky and reader) met. He never once thought about being with Dot instead of the reader during their relationship (quite frankly he didn't ever think the two would cross paths again after she left) and he never preferred Dot over the reader, ik it may seem like he did but when she (Dot) came back, yeah he was in his feels a little because he never thought he'd see her again, but all he saw her as was a friend. They had known each other for a very long time and he just wanted to keep her as a friend and he thought she wanted that as well (obviously she didn't lol). All in all, the reason he says he loves the reader but he was in love with Dot in the beginning was because him and dot knew each other and dated for a while, previous to their mutual breakup. I guess you could say she was his first love, he would always have love for her but never would he get back together with her because he's now with the reader and he's very happy.

Af far as I know, I've been credited for my work but i know there's a few that aren't. Just a heads up, don't steal others work. We work hard on our stories and give our time to make it perfect so for people to just steal them is just so wrong. It's not hard to credit someone for something THEY did.
