Don't be scared to try new things. Trying new things is how change happens, how new doors open, how we create opportunities. Being open to experiencing new things regularly and playing along with new ideas and interests could have life changing positive consequences. No one ever got super successful by never trying anything new. No one ever healed by refusing to be open to new activities. New is good, new is growth.

i can really brag on GOD cause he really be doing his big one when it comes to me. don’t write 2023 off just yet. may your expectations not be cut short. i pray that the last few weeks of this year are filled with peace, restoration and answered prayers. stay low and continue to have faith.

Your thoughts don't have to be true. They don't have to mean anything or out you as anything. You could be the most morally & ethically developed person and still have atrocious intrusive thoughts. They are not you. And I wish someone had told me this all those years ago. You're fine ♡

i expect a lot from me in 2024.

i am outgrowing who i was, and that’s okay. i am evolving every day, becoming something new. i will always miss my old selves but i welcome the new me with open arms.

the biggest lesson I was taught in 2023 was that if you don't go out and do it, nobody will do it for you. if you don't defend yourself nobody will defend you. so, you just suck it up and just do it. that's when you mature and grow up. that's when you unlock the full version of yourself.

growing up and maturing is realising that people including yourself make mistakes. all of us learn from it. we grow and be better, for ourselves. not for anyone else’s sake. maturing is knowing you’ve done something wrong, accepting it and continue to work to become a better version of yourself.

the urge to write is like a cat meowing for dear life for someone to open the goddamn door, who then shows utter disinterest in said open door
