This month was pretty similar to February. German class is going well, but I'm really looking to find more immersion in my day. Downloading the SVT Nyheter app has been a way to sneak a few more minutes of Swedish into my routine.

I think the key reason Bhanu’s arc didn’t hit right was that every time he’d have an outburst, the momentum of the episode would grind to a halt. We could feel nothing would be gained and so it just became uncomfortable instead of sympathetic ,,,

Reflection
This was a really good month for German, which made it a really bad month for everything else. I can feel my Anki reviews really paying off, and my in-class comprehension is well above average. I can confidently say I've reached an A1 level now which is really exciting!
Hoping to find a better balance between German and Swedish studying next month, and to watch more TL immersion content. It's difficult because I don't want to study German and Swedish in close proximity to one another but I'm studying German pretty much every day so that's difficult.

at some point you have to realize that you actually have to read to understand the nuance of anything. we as a society are obsessed with summarization, likely as a result of the speed demanded by capital. from headlines to social media (twitter being especially egregious with the character limit), people take in fragments of knowledge and run with them, twisting their meaning into a kaleidoscope that dilutes the message into nothing. yes, brevity is good, but sometimes the message, even when communicated with utmost brevity, requires a 300 page book. sorry.
