my spider-man hot take is that it's not mcu peter parker that would be most likely to have a strong social media presence, it's tasm peter parker.
its tasm peter who would have spider-man accounts on different social medias that have near-daily posts. he is the one who does the rockefeller street nightcore tiktok dance while in the suit on the side of a building with the rockefeller center in the background, he does impromptu 2am AMAs on twitter while doing a stakeout. he used to do twitch livestreams of him just swinging around the city but he got banned bcus his streams broke TOS.
mcu peter has a twitter for spidey that he only posts on a burner phone and public wi-fi because he has a healthy fear of how easy it is to get information thru shit like meta data. he used to be very open and willy-nilly about using social media but it was a combo of ned and happy who drilled online safety into him so hard he's become petrified of even opening facebook without using a strong vpn first. he put passwords on all of his apps and they are all random alphanumeric codes.
raimi peter has only a professional peter parker twitter and he rarely posts on it. he tried to make a spidey twitter account once but couldn't keep up and didn't want to hire a social media manager so it's sat decrepit and unused since 2011. he maintains social media presence through reddit by commenting on random posts in subreddits relating to spider-man/new york.
