Started shipping rivamika from 2013 ever since i watched them battle against the female titan and suddenly i realized how different yet similar the two of them were. And my love for this ship only grew more from how they silently and subtlety care for each other.
I'm so glad I've almost never seen any of us creating hate or slandering other ships, even though we keep receiving endless hate and judgements.
Now Levi and Mikasa are the few people that are alive (and most likely to survive until the end) but i realized i wouldn't care whether they'd be together or just be there for each other, i just hope the best for the two of them. They've suffered from day one and deserve to be happy.

I suddenly thought of something
So Eren can see or show memories or affect actions towards the past/future Attack Titan holder.
What if...this supposed panel is going to be farmer and his child--but then the scene shifts to Grisha and Baby Eren.
Eren knows he's gonna die in the end. So this will be Grisha saying "You are free." To Baby Eren but it's actually Eren from the future saying it to himself, because in the end, he IS free.

Hope
Again.
Her feet drags her backward, hand covering her mouth in an attempt to stifle her sobs. Mikasa finds herself dropping back to an empty seat, her head bowing.
A memory from when Hange held her comfortingly as she cried resurfaces.
Tightly shutting her eyes, she could barely make out the voices of the others grieving for the same person as her head begins to throb painfully.
When will it end?
The flying boat continues to bring them forward even when they struggle not to.
She hears someone release a shuddering breath next to her. Mikasa slowly opens her eyes to see Levi's bandaged hand resting upon his lap, trembling.
No more.
Mikasa rests her hand atop his silently, her headache throbbing dully.
She feels it when he flipped his hand, her heart clenching as he struggles with three digits when she intertwines their fingers.
Please, no more..
Mikasa twists to him "Promise me you won't die."
In this cruel world, is it so wrong to hold onto whatever beauty that is left?
Silence is what she receives.
Dropping her head to rest her forehead against his shoulder, she begs him "Please.. promise me."
"I can't." His voice cracks.
And like a broken dam, she unravels. Her tears soaking through his shirt.
"Do you think that there's another world than this?" She asks softly, his chest emitting warmth around her as they sit together in his couch with their gazes towards the evening sky outside the window.
Tightening his hands around her, he answers "Perhaps." Because hope is something he could provide for her. And he could hope for the both of them, if one day she couldn't anymore.
"Could we..meet again in a less cruel world?" She twists her body to look at him.
His eyes flits down and locks with her hopeful gaze "Yes." He presses a kiss on her forehead "We could."
Her silent cries piercing through his soul.
A/N: The flashback is to imply that in the end, he couldn't hope for the both of them.
We're almost near the end of the manga, and i'm saddened by the recent loss, i could never imagine how the characters feels. I'm confident Levi will survive until the end, but i know yet another death is coming. So here's me sharing my angsty feeling through this fic.

Summary: For Mikasa Ackerman and Lance Corporal Levi, there is only tension, a force born out of attraction and separation battened in volatile intimacy.
Author’s Note: I was writing this fanfiction in between working on my exam essays and this is the result of my breaks (=procrastination). I decided to explore different themes of tension between my (cracked) SNK ship. Procrastination is apparently a rich source of inspiration because my short drabble turned into a multi-part story.
Since I am uncomfortable with the age difference between Mikasa and Levi, I am boosting Mikasa’s age in this story so she’s at least 20 years old.

Mikasa and Levi talks before they reach Odiha
Middle
Mikasa's heavy eyelids slowly flutters open, her half gaze catching a seagull flying past the round window.
"You're awake."
She shifts slightly and remembers the presence next to her. Mikasa lifts her head from his shoulder and leans back on the wall "How long did i slept?"
"Long enough. It's fine, we're still far from Odiha." Levi answers, his tone groggy, as if he's only just woken up himself.
How long ago has she earned herself some good sleep? Months, maybe even years.
She's killed. Enemies, friends, sometimes she can't tell the difference. Someone like her doesn't deserve a good sleep.
"You lost the scarf."
She turns to him, the bandages obscured most of his face but she can see the heavy bag underneath his eye, and the way his eyebrow is pinching slightly. He's in pain.
He had to kill his own squad.
Levi looks at her from the corner of his eye. She faces away.
"I chose not to wear it."
Silence engulfs them. She thinks she would never get used to the sounds of the ocean.
She hears shuffles outside their door, they're almost arriving.
"I lost him a long time ago. we all did..but i didn't realize it sooner," She brings her legs to her chest "i was clinging to the hopes that he was still there."
"Maybe he is," his voice resonates her, "what will you do then?"
"I won't know until it happens." Her legs falls again, and she moves to leave the bed but his voice stops her.
"I know i should've said this a long time ago," she turns to him as he speaks, and they finally face each other.
"when all of this is over..come back to me."
He squeezes her hand that was intertwined with his since the beginning. She looks down.
Their hands lay in the middle.
Why hadn't she realized?
She smiles wistfully, Levi looks away. she might be crying, but she's afraid to find out.
She could feel it, deep within her. That feeling she thought she would never get to know again.
Hope.
A/N; i noticed their relationship has always been subtle but definitely there. I imagine this is how their conversation would go. Only brief words but lots of feelings involved. Levi would wait until the war is over before they could really talk, he doesn't say "Don't die." Because he trust that she'll survive. The scarf part is foreshadowing "I chose not to wear it" meant she had chosen and came to terms that Eren could never be. And Levi telling her to come back to him implies she still has something to fight for. At the end ,she still has him. They have each other.
