like i wish i could delete this blog bc now i just feel so worthless thinking about it and honestly wanna s/h but bc tumblr changed my pw without my consent so i can't delete this side blog. i do think that some ppl use this website to bully and gang up on others. re-reading that thread i saw that i had misunderstood some of it so i was wrong there but ppl also made so claims that i don't simply think are true and ppl are clearly misinformed and know little about a subject and just make bold claims. i just feel like a lot of social justice on tumblr takes this approach of superiority and meanness. and it's not motivated by the right reasons all the time. some bloggers claim they care about black ppl and they care about immigrants but these days i kind of doubt it when i'm constantly left feeling alienated from black spaces. this blog kinda serves as my diary so i'll probs just have to get a real one or finally give in and make a new blog bc i honestly feel so low right now and shouldn't have said anything. i do still feel like the us are trying to sorta make this about themselves and don't realise a lot of the time that they have a very americancentric interpretation of the situation but a lot of ppl in the uk even don't understand it either so u can't really blame them.

and there are some ppl now trying to leave a lot of poc out of this conversation on brexit. yes i understand that this will more directy hurt (majority white) EU immigrants such as polish and other middle eastern immigrants but now that David Cameron is gone (not a fan please don't misunderstand me) the conservatives will be run by a far more right wing leader, likely Boris Johnson. And they won't end their hate and xenophobia at just EU immigrants. This will affect all immigrants once the new conservative pm comes into power, they will take a harsher stance on all immigrants. please don't try and erase us from this conversation and say that race doesn't apply to this! there are non-white EU immigrants that will be affected! and non-white immigrants who will later be affected by this decision!!!

this brexit is so distressing and it’s honestly upsetting to see ppl who r not from the uk laughing and sharing memes about it. i am lucky because i was able to get british citizenship but there are other immigrants who have not been able to and who are now in danger. other immigrants who now have no chance of making it into the uk.

anyway keeping marginalized folks in the uk in my thoughts, solidarity & wishing you safety during this scary & difficult time
