i understand the appeal of publishing "fic with the serial numbers filed off" as original work but i also feel like. what makes something a good fic is at odds with what makes something a good original story.

just curious as they're always things i've never questioned just doing but people in my life are often surprised that i don't mind doing them alone

Honestly shout out to people with anxiety and panic disorders, y'all don’t get enough recognition for your hard work. Pushing through your body’s instinct to fight/flee/freeze at the slightest worry is a whole new level of strength. You’re battling almost everyday against a fast-acting animalistic response that humans have been experiencing since the dawn of time, a response that is literally designed to take full control of your actions away from you. That takes so much courage and perseverance. You’re strong as fuck.

did you know. if you accidentally kill barcus and feel really really bad about it but you're too lazy to reload so you just keep him in karlach's bag and somehow start using his corpse as a thrown weapon. people will get really mad when you try to pick him back up.

people such as. i don't know. rolan. who will then attack you for trying to pick up your own damn emotional support corpse after saving his ass from some shades and you then have no choice but to kill him.

and then you feel really bad about it so now you have to carry around both barcus AND rolan in karlach's bag
