Guys can we not compare Juke’s relationship to Willex’s?? It’s two different types of relationship that are presented in two different ways. Seeing people say that Willex deserves to be endgame over Juke because they are more “established” is disappointing to read. I really don’t understand why everyone is making such a big deal out of the casts ages. Like yeah, Madison is 16 and the boys are in their early 20s, but they already said they aren’t going to kiss for a little while so it’s not like they’re doing something that she is uncomfortable with. And if she ever decides she is comfortable with it? It’s just a stage kiss that doesn’t mean anything and people do it all the time with much bigger gaps than 4 years. It’s not like any of the guys are (to my knowledge) actually trying to date her. 

To everyone saying that it is “illegal” to kiss a minor in a TV show, it…isn’t? LIke…I don’t know if anyone ever sat down and explained what the age of consent actually is but it’s not for kissing my dudes. But it’s a moot point because like I said, there have been interviews and stuff where they already decided to wait until she is older, so as the viewers we are just going to have to sit back and enjoy the slow burn which I am perfectly fine with. I would like to remind you though that they’re telling  a story, but it’s not like anyone was tricked into being on the show. Like, she knew before filming who her costars were going to be and the implications that come with accepting a main role with a love interest and I guess they found a work around for any issues that she or the adults in her life had with the ages of the cast but it’s not like she went in blind here. 

Lastly I would just like to leave you all with a casual reminder that just because you don’t like something, doesn’t make it objectively wrong or illegal. I’ve seen people who don’t like that any of the boys are even friends with her and frankly I’m more concerned with your ability to make every relationship automatically sexual. 

P.S Because this fandom is insane: Cheesecake is delicious when done right. It’s absolutely not cake, I would instead argue that it’s pie, but if you’re someone who doesn’t like cheesecake maybe first consider that you just haven’t had good cheesecake. Maybe you will never like it or maybe it’s a texture thing but it if it was ever sour and bad, you have had a bad cheesecake experience and it is tainting your opinion. 

There are people out there hating on Madison Reyes- specifically about her looks, and I just want to to say, what the fuck? People are saying she needs to be ‘prettier’? They’re criticizing her tooth gap???? What do you want? White girl number 73 with pale skin, blue eyes and a ‘messy bun’ who’s basically a model pretending to be 16????(no hate to girls who look like this but you and I both know we’ve seen this exact look too many times to count, there’s a certain ‘look’ in all these teen movies for girls) You are saying such disgusting things about a young girl of SIXTEEN YEARS OLD.  

Madison Reyes is a beautiful girl, first of all, She is absolutely perfect the way she is. I’m not just saying this; she is genuinely a very pretty girl. When I heard her sing the first time in Wake Up, I stilled. I couldn’t look away, I couldn’t move, I could do nothing but listen to this girl sing and it was fricking gorgeous. Her voice is one of the best I’ve heard in, well EVER. She’s amazing inside and out. 

If I see any of y’all hating on her for her looks, talents, or her age, just her in general for any frikkin reason, I will steal your kneecaps.
