Chris didn’t know how much of a bad idea it was to wear the surplice again but... she couldn’t get Celintha get hurt, she simply couldn’t. As much of a coward that she was, there was no way she would let that girl get hurt and leave the children that she loved so much alone.
The girl didn’t seem to notice that she was wearing the black armor. Good.
“I’m just glad you are safe.” The girl replied. “Can you stand up?”

“Who are they? Who’s after you?” Saro clenched his fists and backed up warily. All of these were supposed to be dead bodies, but one was already getting up behind her! “Really?!” It was as annoying as it was absolutely terrifying.
“There’s more?! They really are like zombies! Um…”
This was so confusing!
Saro finally nodded. “Um– O-okay, fine then! You don’t want to deal with them! And I don’t want to have to deal with them! And there are a ton of them laying here, if we stay they’ll definitely just wake up, so I think we should both go somewhere else. And fast.”
Otherwise they would both have to “worry about two things at the same time”.
“The Specters.” Chris answer, her voice serious and her attention fully turned to the ones that were being brought back to life. She didn’t want to stay there more than she needed to and there was some hesitation on her part about trusting the other. But she had no choice.
Without a warning, she grabbed the boy by the hand and started running, pulling him along with him. She didn’t want the Specters to find the boy, he would be target on sight.
“Let’s go.”

“White lilies make great bouquets by themselves. I just have to make sure they’re all in position, and…” She wrapped up a bouquet of white lilies and tied it with white ribbons.
“See? They’re like stars. Perfect for weddings.”
“They are so pretty!” Chris replied. Indeed the bouquet was really marvelous to look at and, even she wasn’t going to use it for a wedding, surely it was a good way to repay the kindness that Agasha had shown to her.

Regulus waited patiently for Chris to reply. It seemed to him that she was distracted by Leo at the moment.
“Sure, we can stay by the beach! It isn’t late yet but maybe we can stay here until sunset. Sunsets at the beach are beautiful and relaxing. But….since it is still day, lets go for a swim! Or have a little water fight!”
Regulus took off his shirt and ran towards the water. He stopped before the water and turned around, waiting for Christ to join him.
So he wanted to play in the water uh? Did he even know that it was her element? If he didn’t, then he was in for a surprise. She wasn’t exactly in the right gear to play in the water but she would manage. The girl was going to give splash him!
She put the cat down caressing his head one last time before looking at Regulus. Her cosmos burned a bit and she summoned a wave to splash him.
“Ooops.” She laughed.

I’m sorry for disturbing your dash activity with my rambling but, please, don’t scroll down, I literally beg you to take a few minutes to read this.
As some may know, I got a little companion a few months ago, a guinea pig that we named Spark. Sadly, I did not think my bad luck was so contagious. I was just done treating him for rash (which I got him infected with) that the poor thing broke his leg and was amputated of a toe at the end of his healing process only to catch a cold right after. Be reassured, this is not one of these posts asking you to pay the Vet’s bill, it’s done even if I had to feed on bread for two weeks to deal with it. My pet, my responsibility. I’m not asking for charity either.
What I ask of you is to give me things to do for you that you think would be worth your money. I’m not asking much, it’s just that in addition of Sparks’ problems I have my own too and they are just getting worse with the stress I’m going through. I need a tiny bit of help to at least eat decently every month. I know I have little money so I’m not the kind to make extra on useless stuff.
I can’t do much, I don’t really have drawing skills but I believe I can make decent digital coloring. I can do edits and icons of all sort. I can also make translation from French to English or vice versa. I’m even selling most of my stuff…
I’m not gonna give any more personal information about it publicly but I’m available on IM if you have any request or suggestion. If you can’t give anything, it’s fine, it’s already nice that you have read this far, I greatly appreciate your attention. Any help is welcome, even just sharing and hey! It’s free…

Saro’s heart sank at the sight of the dead bodies. It wasn’t the first time he had ever seen some, but that didn’t ever make it any easier to stomach the sight. The color of the broken metal around them was weird though.
That wasn’t saint armor.
Probably.
“I-I won’t fall for that! Specters don’t need to fight each other, why would you be the one who did this! So you should just go r-run away back to the underworld! Don’t fight anymore! Got it! O-or else I’ll have to fight too! I will! If I have to! Really! So you leave!”
“Because I’m the one they are after.” Chris revealed, the drops of water around her getting bigger. She turned her head hesitantly when she noticed the specter she had taken out was starting to come back to life. Damn Hades... that certainly wasn’t something she was expecting to happen to soon.
“I’m asking you to leave so I won’t have to worry about you and him at the same time.” She added. The body started moving.
“Just.. go.”

“I…!” Saro ran out. He didn’t want to, but he was worried that he would just be attacked and not even see it coming if he kept hiding. Specters were ruthless and mean like that…
And this was probably a real, live specter. It was his first time seeing one. She was… strangely pretty for an evil monster.
“I’m here…!” He was also trying and mostly failing to sound brave as well. He balled his fists and narrowed his eyes, taking a battle stance. “I’m a saint! And I won’t let you get away with… w-whatever you’re doing! Prepare yourself!”
She stood up, her head raised up as she tried as best as she could to seem confident on her abilities. A Saint! She would never imagine she would encounter one again, specially considering how she was mostly targeted by Specters. How could she simply come out and say that she meant no harm to him? That she was actually... neutral? The girl doubted she would be believed in.
Chris took a step to the side, showing the knocked out Specter that she had just taken care off, particles of water floating around her as she prepared for a possible fight. “I’m warning you, leave now or you will end up like him.” She said, motinoning her head to the one behind her.
Please just go, I don’t want to fight anymore.

Regulus shook his head. “Nope, I don’t have anywhere specific to go at all. I would love to stay over and we can catch up on a lot of things.” Including telling her about his missions if she wanted to hear them. He wondered how things have been for her.
Leo purred when the girl scratched behind his ears. He loved that!
Regulus chuckled at the sight. “Leo loves what you are doing. Here.” He handed the kitten over to Chris so she could carry him. “Do you want to stay here by the beach longer or should we head back to your place then?”
The silver haired girl picked up the cat, petting the furr gently. She wasn’t exactly used to dealing with pets, but she could figure out fast enough how to deal with that adorable cat. Her attention was kept by the feline for a little while before she realised that Regulus had actually made a question.
“Well, I was planning on staying a little longer.” Chris admited. “I.. kind of spend the last days locked at home.” She admited.
