Places to find me
Well, I guess Tumblr is self destructing or something. I am very bad at keeping up with Tumblr in general, just because I have trouble keeping up with multiple sites. I’m most active on:
Instagram
Twitter
I also have a Patreon!

Money is really tight this month and I’m stressing hardcore. I’m open for quick commissions! I'm taking a day off from costume work tomorrow and I'll be working solely on art, so these will be done quickly. Please message me if you'd like one! I'll draw anything except Creative Engineering characters.

Mitzi mask I painted for Creative Engineering. This mask is installed on the Mitzi at the Rock-afire bar in Kansas City. Please disregard her dirty and slightly off-center eyes.

I’m a bit short on my bills for this month due to things out of my control, so I’m open for $10 sketches. I can color them (like the colored examples) for an extra $5!
You can message me here or at thejollyollyman (at) yahoo (dot) com if you’d like one. I’m working on them right now!

I've located and contacted the company that built the Sundae costume for The Wacky Adventures of Ronald McDonald to see if they have photos of the costume in production or if the original molds still exist. Here's to hoping they take my message seriously and get back to me!
I have enough to restore him, but having some high quality photos or new parts would be super helpful. His original animatronic head is gone, but I have a paint test mask from the original mold. It looks like they were doing a fur transfer test on it, hence why it’s only partially furred. The only other thing missing is his tail, which was also animatronic. I have a set of unfurred ears and all sets of paws that were used for different shots, and the fur to extend his neck in shots where he was sitting up.

You’re so creative! It’s honestly so cool! Where did you learn all of this from? Did you take classes or are you self taught?
Completely self taught! I just experiment with things, look at tutorials, and just study what other people do and how they do it, then apply that to my work.

Mitzi mask I airbrushed for Creative Engineering. This is for the show going into the Kansas City 'Rock-afire' bar. I only painted the Mitzi mask for this show, the others were done by Aaron's assistant Tim.

Some photos of Roxanne Rose in the 80′s compared to now (first photo on the right). The vintage photos are of my actual Roxanne. They were all numbered on their body shells with their show number and my Roxanne (and Country Cal) is from the 2nd show built.
I unfortunately lost access to my restoration blog for this show, and I plan to make another when I can, but I’ve been mainly posting updates to Instagram. I’ve since removed Roxanne’s face shell so that I can airbrush her eyelids and re-sculpt her face. Other than needing a face, pants and tail, she’s in incredible condition and the best of all 3 characters.
Whenever I post the top photo people always comment on how bad of a condition she’s in when that’s not true at all. She’s mechanically complete and clean and the only actual wear/damage on her is her eyelid paint fading and a couple of cracks in her leg shell and base of her microphone. Her tail and pants were removed by the previous owner and lost and will have to be re-fabricated.
But still, I love this little fox dearly and I’m excited to finish restoring her.

Me and the mask to my Uncle Klunk animatronic. I love this character so much. The original version voiced by the wonderful Jeff Howell that is, not the horrible piece of crap that Showbiz pushed out.
