ok so i don’t know if anyone has done this yet but can we talk about how in the first episode when adora gets promoted to force captain, catra is really happy for her but if you look at her in between the scenes she actually looks kind of sad?
like when catra first sees what the badge is and she realizes that adora has been promoted, she looks devastated.
but as soon as she turns around to face adora she acts happy and proud for her.
and then when adora is responding and not paying attention to her, catra gets sad again.
i think it’s because she realizes that adora might leave her behind and slowly become someone like Shadow-Weaver, someone who doesn’t care for anything but power for herself.
but once again she immediately changes her mood when she turns to adora. she acts happy again.
and i think its actually really sweet. like even if she isn’t happy with what happened, she knows how much it means to adora so she makes sure she is happy first.
you know what? A very nice dress. I like the color, I like the belt, I like the hairpin, but I don’t really love anything. Very good effort for someone who wanted to just wear their evil-fighting persona outfit.

Absolutely iconic. That stylishly untied bowtie, the rolled up sleeves, the ripped pants, the color scheme? All wonderful. Unfortunately, i had to take points off for the lack of shoes. Like. I get it. She has claws. But still. However, she earned some points back for the complete power move of matching both her date and the girl she was pursuing. What an icon. We stan.

I love the skirt, but I’m not very fond of the choker or the fingerless gloves, personally. Color wise, i think the dress could have used more pink, to match her hair.

My god. Everything about this outfit killed me, in the best way. The dress matches her lipstick and eye color, and I absolutely love the sleeve and the classy slit up the side. Her earrings and belt both make a statement and are subtle. The black and red color scheme is just the best. The flashes of red inside her dress and her Louboutin heels make this dress. I couldn’t focus on anything else when she was onscreen, due to how insanely attractive this outfit was.

Love it. The color scheme suits her perfectly, although I have serious concerns about the length of her top. I admire how her earrings match her bracelets, which in turn match her skirt. The half shawl is a nice touch. Well put-together and creative.
