HAIM- Forever

HAIM: Days Are Gone Review

After months of waiting, Days Are Gone is officially out. If you don't know who HAIM is, they are a group of musically talented sisters out making some bomb ass music. HAIM consists of Danielle, Este, and Alana Haim. Oh, and their very manly drummer, Dash Hutton. Days Are Gone is HAIM's  very much anticipated debut studio album. I just got the album and it does not disappoint.

If you got the Forever EP then you've already heard a couple songs off the album. HAIM brings on an entire new feel with some of the songs we haven't heard though, such as "If I Could Change Your Mind", "Days Are Gone", and "My Song 5". The entire album consists of catchy beats and catchy lyrics. Along with some awesome synths. It gives off a feelings of music from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Rock? R&B? Pop? All three? Days Are Gone is a completely different kind of album. The HAIM sisters have definitely set themselves apart. There's no genre that they could be filed under.

One of my new favorites is definitely "Days Are Gone". It makes me want to get up and dance. My all time favorites though, are "Forever" and "Don't Save Me". There's just something about HAIM that makes me want to get moving and dance. During the summer, I had the pleasure of getting to see them live at Bonnaroo Music Festival and their set was definitely one of the best ones I saw out there.

I couldn't tell you how long I've been waiting for this album to come out. Check it out, tell me about it, give me your opinions?

We watched it in theaters! Sorry. It was filmed in the town we live in and was playing at a couple theaters around here. I was in the tag earlier and there was someone that was going to post a link to it earlier? If I can find it I’ll post it! Sorry!
