Mav loves Ices chest hair

Whether just playing with it casually, burying his face in Ices chest after a long day and nuzzling into the warmth, or even falling asleep on Ices chest.

Ice used to moderately wax or shave it to groom and keep it neat but now he just let's it do what it wants cause Mav loves it and goes absolutely wild anytime Ice takes off his shirt and Mav sees his chest.

When Ice gets his diagnosis, they're both equally devastated and laughter becomes a rare appearance in Iceman, before he would ar least smile, but now it's as if he has simply shut down under a cool glacier of ice.

Mav is desperate to help his Tom and so decided to make him smile at least once a day, and eventually get him to laugh again, Maverick adores Ices laugh, Ice hates how breathy and raspy its gotten, and refuses to even chuckle, but even he can't resist Mavericks efforts.

Eventually, Mav finds the one foolproof 100% successful way of making Ice laugh. He walks up to his husband, lifts his arms like he's going for a hug and then abruptly lifts up Ices shirt and buries his head into Ices chest, rubbing his face in Ices chest hairs. He pulls the shirt over his head and wraps his arms around Ices waist to hold him tightly and the tickling sensation of Mav on his chest, along with the hilarious image of Mav's head stretching the shirt always make Ice laugh.

As time goes on his full bodied laughs turn to breathless chuckles, to giggles, to huffs of joy. And then to little whispers of air, strained and tired from his bed in the hospital, surrounded by monitor, tubes and instruments.

Even on the darkest of days, Mav always managed to brighten his Toms day up and even in his most painful moments, Ice let his beloved hotshot gently tickle him to giggles.

And then, the sounds slowly turn to pained but amused whispers to playful sniggers, to soft chortles, to quiet giggles, to full chested laughs again. It's always the best thing Mav has ever heard, even at Ices quietest, even at his loudest, the sound of his loves joy always lights up Mavs world.
