Heaven has been destroyed and the angels flee to a hidden village on earth, and they adopt Cuphead
Witch Au
Michael falls and meets the cups who he accidentally turns into witches

Cuphead Witch AU
Ok we finally posting about this
NOW
So this au takes place in the @askcupsandcasinos / @lilluciferau universe by @brightgoat roughly in the time that we last left off in the casino cups story. Alright PLOT TIME.
So there’s a lot of events that happen to get us to this point but essentially what happens is Cuphead and Mugman are accidentally turned into witches by this mysterious blue eyed fallen angel with a spear ;);) and now they have to learn how to use their magic and… might even need to be afraid of their own boss…
So now that that’s out of the way on to what I really want to talk about here: WORLD BUILDING
So in this world witches are mortals who’s souls were infused with dark magic by a demon. They posses three main types of magic
Familiar Magic
Spirit animal bullshit. Whatever animal their personality or interests are associated with grants them powers such as using abilities that that animal possess (ex a good sense of smell, breathing under water) and partially transforming into their familiar.
Cuphead’s familiar is a magpie and Mugman’s familiar is a sea monster thing
So yeah Cuphead can fly Mugman can breath underwater and swim really fast etc
Elemental/Alchemy Magic
Last Airbender bullshit. A witch has two main elements that they can control out of the four. Water, fire, air, and earth. The better they can make their two elements work together, the better the spells they can do with them.
Cuphead’s two elements are water and fire and Mugman’s two elements are water and air
Manual Magic
Uuuuhh, The Owl House bullshit? This is the more flexible kind of magic that can take a variety of shapes. They mainly learn it through contact with demons and usually imitating the magic of the demons themselves. With this they can vastly expand on their existing magic and it’s really the only way they can do magic that doesn’t have to do with their elements or familiars. I know I just did a crap job of explaining this but even I haven’t fully figured all this out
So yeah plenty more to come on this au in terms of plot, lore, and maybe even more of my shitty pen and paper drawings
