I’ve always thought Sheik would look cool in vaguely Indian style clothing so I did a little re design for fun. I even did two palettes because I think Sheik looks awesome in her darker costumes!

Aryll

I didn’t quite like how I drew Aryll for that LoZ headcanon post I made of her and her siblings, so I decided to redraw her with some tweaks to her design. I took more cues from her canon design to help me out here, like her sharper features and larger head and her overall proportions. I also threw in some cat-like qualities to her because to me, her canon design kinda reminds me of a kitten. I gotta say, I’m far happier with the new one. o3o

Did a few changes not just to her appearance, but her headcanon as well!

-Aryll is the youngest of the 3 siblings, around 5-6 years old

-Altered her personality and her outfit to go with it. Given how much she aspires to be like her older siblings, I’d imagine she’s a lot more rowdy “go go go!” sort of kid. Aryll has boundless energy and endless thirst for adventure; verly rarely will she hesitate when something new presents itself to her. She’s quite brave for her age but her search for excitement can (and has) ended up with her getting into trouble: bandaids aren’t a new concept for her. Her zealous spirit can often lead to impatience, but that doesn’t override her want to help others: if she isn’t running around chasing the heels of adventure, she’s running around helping the people in her village however she can (usually with their chores).

-Link is a huge pushover for his baby sister: whatever she wants, she almost always gets. The main thing she ever asks of him, though, is for him to play with her. Her favorite game is when Link shifts into his wolf form and she pretends he’s her noble steed and companion on an epic quest to save the princess (often played by big sis Linkle).

-She enjoys going hunting with her sister, but it’s mainly the “trekking the forest” part she likes more than “actually shooting the animal” part. She understands why they hunt: they gotta eat of course, and I’d imagine the family sells furs, but she can’t help but feel sad whenever Linkle’s arrow hits its target.

-While Link and Linkle inherited their father’s blue-green eyes, Aryll has their mother’s brown eyes. Brown is actually an uncommon eye color in Hyrule, or at the very least among Hylians: the common eye colors for their race is a wide variety of blues and greens. Aryll’s eyes are often commented on, the residence of the village having given her the nickname of “Honey” because the resemblance in color.
