I like how Kamui's and Subaru's relationship in TRC is still based on comforting touch. When Subaru woke up from his sleep after 2.5 years, Kamui immediately rushed up to him.
Hand hold and "I'm so relieved you're finally awake" hug. Anime kinda? Chopped of this part? Subaru barely responded to hold there where in manga he clearly does. Also this one seems more emotional? At least that's the impression I got
Ah Kamui, as protective as usual. But he actually listens to Subaru's suggestions. Hand hold remains. It becomes subtle from there but:
Hard to notice because bunch of other relevant things are happening in these panels. Mainly about how to keep Fai alive. But yes, Kamui is holding onto Subaru.

It's hard to tell who is holding onto who but hold is certainly there from one, if not both of them.
Then Subaru steps away to talk with Yuuko and hold is broken. But he's still close enough that tails of his coat are around Kamui's feet. On separate note, how Subaru manages to walk around in that coat/cape and not have it catch onto anything, it's a wonder. Years of practice perhaps.
Then Yuuko proposes the plan how to save Fai but Kamui refuses since he assumes it's dangerous to turn anyone else into a vampire (since it makes them pretty powerful). And that person could potentially become an issue to either of them, like Seishirou did. Still, it's unclear why exactly is Seishirou hunting them (or if it's just Subaru) and what history ran between them. But Kamui probably has some concrete reasons to be apprehensive and distrustful about Yuuko's plan since Fai is a stranger to him.
But Subaru manages to make Kamui give it a second thought. And comforting touch, such as that one, perhaps calms Kamui down abit.
Hold remains here while Yuuko explains things. Kamui is holding one arm with another - pose often seen when self soothing or being uncertain or insecure regarding something. He's probably reconsidering his course of action given that Subaru wants to help a total stranger (Kamui too perhaps to some self-preservative degree) but is worried of consequences in case Fai "becomes a hindrance" to their safety.
Touch is broken when Kamui, this time, steps forward to give Fai his blood. Reasons being is one Kamui said so himself - he doesn't want anyone else to mess with Subaru blood and cause him issues in that regard. Byproduct of his overtop protective nature.
Then Kamui steps back and comforting touch remains:
In conclusion, silent reassurance and comforting touch is subtle in TRC as opposed to their relationship in X, but it exists in TRC too.
