it's serene and silent underneath the moonlight, and you lean into his gentle touch. his eyes scan yours for a hint of your feelings, but he knows a better way of knowing—and so he asks, barely above a whisper, though the cold breeze takes it away soon after. yet you heard him loud and clear like the beat of your heart, "may i kiss you?", and nod ever so slightly. and so he leans in quietly, it's so soft, and you're hooked on the way he caresses your cheek so very lightly, with only the moon and stars bearing witness to this secret rendevous in the dark dead of the night.

the early afternoon is filled with smiles and laughter, and he holds your hand as his forehead leans against yours. sweet words are muttered, though he makes a claim that none are as sweet as the taste of your lips, just as his thumb brushes it. you can't deny the loud beating of your heart, as he looks into your eyes with such a loving look, it makes you melt. "may i?" he laughs as his lips move to meet yours, his embrace warm and comforting just like him. you both smile into the kiss, and he then continues to pepper your face with kisses (just as you deserve).

you don't know exactly what it is, but there is something in his gaze you are very susceptible to. the air almost feels freezing, and you don't even dare to break away your eyes from his own that bore into yours. suddenly hyper-aware of how close his lips are, you can't seem to move—he cups your cheek in his hand, breathily and quietly asking, "can i?" those two words strike something within you, and you swiftly move in before he can even think. the way he smirks knowingly is infuriating, but at this point you don't care, as you lose yourself in his embrace.

1. I used to get into lots of trouble for fighting and what not in school because anger issues~
2. I was basically raised at renaissance fair for how often my parents and I attended from my birth until I was about 6-7.
3. I once had plans to become a musician and/or actor until I realized my social anxiety was way too terrible, so I settled for doing art instead.
