I still believe that the union of Peter and Sansa is the best thing that can happen to Westeros. After all the shit Sansa has been through, with an excellent mentor like Littlefinger, she will become a strong queen. And not just of the North.

Littlefinger has also been through a lot. His sharp mind allows him to achieve anything. And I think he would make a really good king. As the Master of Coin and the owner of brothels, he knows how to handle money and people correctly. He is not cruel unnecessarily (like Joffrey), only when necessary. He is not greedy and corrupt like the Baratheons, not proud like the Lannisters. He knows his worth, but doesn't flaunt it in everyone's faces. And if he were to win the crown, he would be the "owner" of all the seven kingdoms of Westeros, and he knows how to manage his possessions better than anyone else.

It's a pity that the creators of the series made Littlefinger insignificant. It says a lot about their "talent". Baelish is a genius, but in inexperienced hands, he became just a fool. It's very sad.
