anyway thinking of Ganke + Hobie again with his weird cat energy. Ganke finds him looming nearby and is like “Miles your friend is here… come get him” and Hobie is mentally fighting the air because he just wanted to hang with Ganke and by hang he meant stand in a corner near him and just enjoy his presence. but he doesn’t say anything because maybe this is Ganke’s way of saying he’s uncomfortable (does not know him well enough to know that Ganke will outright say that if it were true), so he tries different tactics, all of which are more complicated and vague than simply asking to chill together. Ganke is streaming and Hobie manifests in the corner, the chat is like ??? that is NOT your roommate who is that. and when Ganke looks Hobie is gone because he forgot all of his rehearsed “befriend this person” lines and didn’t want to come off as rude by just staring. He’s unusually anxious when it comes to befriending Ganke for reasons he doesn’t understand, so much so that it worries people around him, but don’t worry. When they realize they both like teasing/helping Miles, things get natural and easier and detrimental to Miles’s wellbeing ^_^

I just signed up for the Batfam Big Bang and this year I'm letting YOU decide what I'm gonna be writing

alfred fucking loves utonium. he makes bruce and the kids happy and his daughters are a fucking delight. it’s mind blowing how much having another well adjusted adult the house made his stress levels decrease an insurmountable amount.

the thing about utonium that is alfred’s favorite is his ability to make (force) the batfam to rest whenever they overwork. cause lets be real.

the batfam? chronic overworkers. like, some of them are better at hiding it than others but point still stands.

professor utonium has curfews set (as much as he can because he married into a vigilante family of nightowls), the ppg help their dad by being annoying (buttercup), snitching (blossom) and guilt tripping (bubbles) the others into sleeping and taking a rest

this has become kind of an inside joke now. alfred is the right hand man, preparing the baths and cups of tea. blossom, bubbles and buttercup are the ones doing the dirty work because their dad would never go through such tactics. and that’s because he doesn’t need to. one disappointed look and a few choice words from him will have any of the batfam trudging to their rooms or the nearest comfortable surface.

and sometimes, the roles are reversed.

sometimes, it’s utonium that gets less than 5 hrs of sleep in a week because of some study he’s doing. sometimes, it’s dick and jason pushing an intervention just outside his lab. it’s tim and alfred delivering him tea and food. it’s damien and cass dragging to a couch to cuddle with titus. it’s steph telling him he looked like shit. it’s his girls, his darling girls staying in his lab as a constant reminder to stop working because “you always said that rest is very important”.

and lastly, it’s bruce that always, always gently takes his lab coat off for him and leads him to their too expensive bed. and always will utonium feel the love his family has for him.

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.
