You guys rlly don't realise how much knowledge is still not committed to the internet. I find books all the time with stuff that is impossible to find through a search engine- most people do not put their magnum opus research online for free and the more niche a skill is the less likely you are to have people who will leak those books online. (Nevermind all the books written prior to the internet that have knowledge that is not considered "relevant" enough to digitise).
Whenever people say that we r growing up with all the world's knowledge at our fingertips...it's not necessarily true. Is the amount of knowledge online potentially infinite? Yes. Is it all knowledge? No. You will be surprised at the niche things you can discover at a local archive or library.

However butches and gender nonconforming women almost NEVER get shown as old in media, and our beautiful middle aged (and older!) butches never get to the public eye!

“You move around a lot in your sleep, you know that?” Kunikida + any one of your choosing!
“You move around a lot in your sleep, you know that?”
Chuuya groans, the noise muffled by the fact that their face is buried in Kunikida’s shoulder. They’re half-lying on top of him, legs tangled up with his, one arm thrown over his torso and the other splayed out, reaching towards the edge of the bed.
Slowly, they lift their head just enough to look at Kunikida through bleary eyes. “Mm?”
Kunikida smiles at the sight, running his fingers through Chuuya’s hair. He’s overcome with a sudden rush of affection, knowing that he is one of the few people who has been allowed to see Chuuya like this—with their guard down and their heart open, half-asleep clingy and affectionate. He wishes he could simply hold them like this forever.
“Maybe I jus’ wanna be close to you,” they mumble before promptly dropping their head back onto Kunikida’s chest.
He chuckles. “You kneed me in the face earlier.”
Chuuya makes another noncommittal sound in the back of their throat. And then, after a moment, they lift their head again, suddenly appearing far more awake. “Wait, shit, really?” They roll over, off of Kunikida, so their back is to him, and bury their face in their hands. “Sorry, I don’t—”
“Hey, it’s fine, it didn’t hurt,” he interrupts.
“But—”
“Chuuya.” He turns over too, pulling them into his arms so their back is pressed against his chest. He kisses their shoulder. “I have had to share a bed with Ranpo-san on overnight cases. And you are far easier to move around than they are.”
Chuuya still says nothing, so Kunikida kisses their shoulder again. And then their neck, and the side of their head, over and over until they finally break and laugh, reaching behind them to push Kunikida away. “I’m going to knee you again, but this time on purpose,” they threaten.
Kunikida steals one last kiss before pulling back, narrowly dodging their attempt to swat at him. He rolls onto his back, and Chuuya immediately seizes the opportunity to climb on top of him, perching on his lap. He hardly has time to catch his breath before they’re leaning down, pressing their lips to his.

"This is an LGBT safe space. Of COURSE I fully support individuals who identify as transgender and their right to self-determination! I just think that transitioning is a very serious choice and should be heavily regulated. And there could be a lot of harm in exposing cis children to such topics, so we should be really careful about when it is appropriate to mention trans issues or have too much trans visibility."
One of the above statements is Problematic and the other is slightly annoying. If we disagree on which is which then working together for a better future is going to get really fucking difficult.
