The crocus are in full bloom, hanging out with the lavender plants for a nice contrast. Our neighbor's honeybees must not have made it through our weird winter this year though as there were none in sight. Our mason bees have started to hatch so maybe some of them will show up.

Walking out on the ice shelf is dangerous. The waves come up underneath and holes can open up that you could fall in. It's really hard to resist though, especially when it looks solid and like lots of other people made it.

Geese in the snowstorm, they could get out of the snow but seem to be enjoying it for now. When the temperatures drop as predicted they will huddle up out of the wind. Soon, when night comes, they will sit in the snow, pull their legs and feet up into their down coat, tuck their heads under a wing and when I find them in the morning they will have a coat of snow.
