I’ve been thinking… let’s talk about a plot that’s so modern it hurts. So real and raw. wb a pairing where two (or more) people are barely getting by day to day? Listen to me here though. These people are struggling through life (and it won’t always be easy cue angst) maybe one is on the verge of losing their job or they’re both unemployed but they still look for gigs here and there. They don’t know what tomorrow will look like, where they’ll sleep, but they plot and plan together and somehow find a way last minute each and every time. They save every dime and penny for food and shelter, sometimes they don’t even know if they’ll have enough but they know they have each other and they’re each other’s anchors and hope when they’re about to give up. They’re the real definition of ride or die, Bonnie & Clyde. They’re two (or more!) real people struggling to make it but they’re struggling together.

Bonus: one day, they find success and can look back together (or apart) ((multiple threads can be used!)) and they can’t believe they made it out of the struggle. (If they’re apart, they reunite and can’t help but feel attached to each other and are so proud of where they are) 

romeo+juliet 1996 really is That Film it has so much to offer… fuckboy montagues, tybalt’s heels, unnecessary zooms, mercutio’s Entire self, claire danes at her cutest, people screaming JULIET at all times, the poste haste van, “timely” magazine… like yes it’s a terrible movie but it’s also the best movie ever made and if you don’t think so i don’t trust you
