High Lord Tamlin is basically Prince Adam aka Beast. Think about how similar they both are. They loved and adored their mom but died when he was young. Both men’s father was horribly cruel. Tamlins mother loved roses and he cherishes them dearly like Beast. Both had a big library where they liked to read and both are well educated. Tamlin has an ability to shape shifting into a bear-like body, wolf head with elk horns which is very similar to what the Beast looks like. Tamlin can turn his court members into wolves or glamor them like he did for Andras and Alis. Both had a heart made of stone. Both lock up a woman for selfish reasons and refuse to reason with her needs resulting in her hatred. However, Tamlins court is currently in ruins at the end of the books looking more like the beginning of the curse on Prince Adam when he became the Beast. So, maybe Tamlin will have a happily ever after if Sarah J Maas continues writing novellas for ACOTAR.

Time

The years passed faster than you could say "Change of season". Or so it seemed in hindsight.

I can't remember when he got his first grey hair. I can't remember when I noticed the folds in his skin for the first time. I can't remember when he gained those few extra pounds. I can't remember when our daughter stopped being the little girl and turned into an accomplished woman. I can't remember when our son stopped playing with cars and started to attract the gazes of other girls. And I definitely can't remember how my life had been before them.

I do however remember the ever-growing love between us. The love in my husband's eyes when we wake up in the morning. The love I see in my daughter's heart when she tells us about the little wonder inside her tummy and when she asks us for parenting advice. The love in my sons words when he visits us for dinner. The love inside me whenever I feel grateful for my family.

My life was far from perfect. But I don't regret a single thing because it brought me to the best family I could ask for.
