i will never not be thinking of maren and lee especially as it becomes clear that this movie doesn't appeal to wider audiences due to well it's content and gore and isn't that so meta ? Even in their relationship to a larger audience they're not palatable and not in an annoying "if you get you get it" way but in the sense that the larger audiences are disgusted by them and cannot possibly root for them because of what they are...fascinating stuff I love it
