Not to be rude and sound all rushing but out of my Curiosity how is the work on Tano and Kenobi going. I just want them to be happy OK *Goes and cries in a corner*
Please don’t cry my poor Imperial friend! *hugs* I promise Ahsoka and Obi-Wan are happy! They’re in a good place right now that’s different from the end of Season two but it’s no less happy and positive.
Ahsoka and Obi-Wan were always destined to have that horrible, painful talk. It was baked into the story’s DNA once Ahsoka decided it was better to blend in than to try to prove to Yoda, Mace, the Council and Senior Initiate Obi-Wan that she was from the future.
That confrontation was like Harry Potter facing off against Voldemort. There would be no way to tell the story of Tano and Kenobi in a satisfying way if Ahsoka didn’t come clean about where she was from. Ahsoka and Obi-Wan’s relationship would have been built on a lie and you can’t build trust or a friendship based on a lie. And y’all would have spent every story worrying about when Obi-Wan was going to find out and that would be exhausting.
While we won’t be covering this in Season Four heavily, there will be mentions of it though, Ahsoka is currently going through extensive physical therapy and mind healers to recover from what happened. She’s getting a little bit better every day and Obi-Wan is taking exceptional care of her, as Master Shode expected.
They have their bumps and bruises, like all masters and apprentices, but they’re finding their way back to each other.
So don’t worry my dear! I promise there will be a lot of happiness for our favorite duo in the seasons to come! There might even be more Mama Ohnaka! There’s definitely going to be more Quinlan, Luminara, Rast and Kit, not to mention Our Lady of Vapaad and Ducal House of Kryze. Mace Windu might even smile! Yoda will continue to be Yoda and the Presence will continue to be… mysterious.
I am working on it and I assure you that no one wants y’all to see Season Four more than me because I. HAVE. PLANS. AND. I. NEED. Y’ALL. TO. SEE. THEM. Also, Padme and the sailor scouts I mean her Handmaidens are inbound and I’m looking forward to the challenge of writing them.
