I love how Jean is so focused on Kevin and Neil that whenever there is a scene with them he always just say: oh yeah and Kevin's pet goalkeeper is there too I guess (because Andrew is always there for them) before he starts spiraling hard.
It's so funny that in Neil's pov Andrew was always lager than life, this heavy, commanding presenc that always took up all of the attention in the room ect... ect...
And now we can see that he's really just a dude most of the time (when he isn't high as fuck) and Neil was just very very very gay for andrew, without even realising.

we've all talked about the iconic neil cameo (i will never tire of talking about the iconic neil cameo) but the scraps jean hands us about andrew? warms my heart. the fact that people in the exy world have picked up on how he's actually putting an effort into games this year. the way he heaves himself out of goal so fast to defend neil from riko. that wymack told the press it was andrew's idea to put neil in defense and it was hailed as genius. andrew getting the recognition he deserves, even if he doesn't care for it. jean speaking to an empty room, "he will be court", as confidently as kevin speaks about neil. andrew having a dedicated candy drawer. andrew always looking at wymack when kevin and neil are being pedantic. andrew and neil and the quiet way they are wrapped around each other's existence. andrew minyard.

Kevin and Jeanās love for each other is just SO. Kevinās postcards and magnets to Jean; his learning French for him; the promise he made Jean make to him; his sending him to his favorite team, the team he knew was the kindest.
His inability to express it is also so heartbreaking to me. Like Jean said himself that they just couldnāt talk but he also said that āthe best Kevin could manage was bottomless guilt.ā And Jean saying that he once wouldāve done anything for Kevin and, even worse, that Kevin knew just that and thatās how he managed to escape Evermore.
Kevin at his core is a selfish person. He used French at Jeanās expense to try and get Riko to stop hitting him, he left Evermore without Jean, he let Neil keep playing for the Foxes despite knowing that it could cost him his life because he wanted to win, he didnāt tell Wymack he was his father until he absolutely had to.
Jean at his core is a giving person, conditioned to not know when to stop. He takes whatever happens to him and is convinced he deserves it, no matter what. He does what people tell him to do. He protects Riko even when heās dead. He still loves the Ravens. He saved Zaneās life, Zane who betrayed him so thoroughly and deeply, without a momentās hesitation or even thought. At age 14 and probably for years before, he protected and parented Elodie. He would do anything for Neil. He would STILL do anything for Kevin.
