Well, thinking abou it, If you want the same gameplay but don’t mind the character’s visuals, you can just delete players.xml and main.lua. The characters will look like undertale ones but have the old gameplay functions. I just dunno if stripping the mod into parts will be too much of a good idea, since that’d make downloading the main package kinda redundant, no? Anyways, if you want more help, just send a DM

Hello! I recently just discovered this mod, and I love how much different the game's atmosphere feels! The only issue I have is that I no longer have access to vanilla characters that I enjoy playing. Is it possible to have both original and modded characters together? If not, would it be possible to download a version of the mod that includes everything except the modded characters (kind of like how Undertale Characters got to be its own mod)?

Hm....I guess I could make a separate version that is just the backgrounds/items? Probably won't take long, we'll see

Hello there! Glad to hear that this mod is still getting updated! If you're still taking suggestions, (and if this hasn't been suggested already...) Have you considered re-skinning the Mom fight to be Undyne? Replacing the parts of mom that come out of the doors with spears, and maybe the leg that comes down into one of Undyne''s while covered in armor? It was an idea I had that I thought might make sense. And apologies if you already thought of this or someone already suggested this! Thank you!

That was planned by the expasion team I think, but stopped before being made. For now, I’m focusing on adding the Deltarune/Alternate path content, but maybe after I’ll look into it!

Do you plan on changing Mad Mew Mew's starting items? She's fitting as the default forgotten but I'm curious

Not too sure, the Forgotten already is a very unique character, and I don’t know what Isaac items exactly would fit. If you do have suggestions tho, feel free to leave them on the workshop’s discussion page!

Hi i might be abit rude to ask but when will you upgrade the mod for the AB+? or do you know how to donwgrade the game to just AB? i bought the collection eddtion so i don't know what to do thanks

To downgrade the game you just uncheck the box that says AB+, in the dlc section. We’re not updating the game because a lot of the modding tools don’t give us enough flexibility and the AB+ updates are screwing over the porting files, resulting in progress being reset in every update.(Small edit: the mod has been ported to AB+, avaliable on Steam Workshop)

Like, for instance, it bugged me a bit that the Lil Toriel item pick up summoned the Lil Loki familiar, so I tried my hand at making the necessary sprite, but I dunno how you felt about it so I didn't dare to touch your code. Anyway, amazing mod guys, really loved it!

You can mod the mod as much as you want. Since it is a singleplayer experience, if you with to make it more customized and better for you, or fix something we haven’t, go on ahead. If you want to post it somewhere though, you have to ask us first.

No, but you can open the files and see their original names. I think part of the fun of the mod is discovering what is what.
