It seems as though the inevitable future of disinformation will continue to persists and will be harder to track and tackle, due to AI being heavily used to create further divides and feed into the echo chambers of those seeking attention and validation, especially those who holds warped, antiquated worldviews.
To think, as a millennial, I would have been more conscientious of what technology can do to the psyche of the collective.
We envisioned a future where machines will eventually take over, but glossed over the incremental events which will eventually lead us into that moment where it will be too late. I do dread it at times, but still cling to hope, no matter how dire it is.
One can only find solace in living through the various moments of time, where we knew how to utilize our brains pertaining to retaining information, and now that it is being substituted by a computer in your hand.
