Ok but why did literally no one tell Edward about alternatives to fricking Bella full on? Like he had no problem making out with her, so...he obvs had no problems using his mouth...
Deleted scene of Bella negotiating the terms of her eminent vampire transformation and marriage:

New Moon au where instead of jumping of a cliff Bella dyed her hair some terrible color with shitty dye like a normal person after a bad breakup. Obviously, Alice still showed up.

I think part of what attracted me to Twilight in the first place was it seemed so intimate and mundane despite the fantastical ridiculous high stakes elements. Bella is just… thinking of grocery lists and cooking dinner and reading her worn out copies of classics and looking at her purple bedspread with fondness and exasperation and sending emails to her mother and wishing she could just feel like she fits in which is such a common feeling. She deals with trying to befriend people and getting asked out not because she’s any better but because she’s new and high school boys get bored and seeing her dad put chains on her tires for the ice and having all these people who remember her as a child but don’t know her, not really. She is every girl and no girl.
Even when Edward is revealed to be a vampire, she wants to go on a date and meet his family and see their house and spend time together of course she describes infatuated as addicted and sees this relationship as the center of her world. She smells the air and describes the weather and thinks about things that are just so small and unimportant that it makes the book feel like a slice of life sometimes. Even with the horrible characterization and plot inconsistencies and endless Morman influences, there is just a simple and boring richness behind Bella’s day to day life that is missing in her backstory and most of the characters idk I’m giving SM too much credit but there’s love there and I can’t help it

when I was a little kid at some point I got upset with my parents because I didn't have a crucifix in my bedroom and they did- I was like why do YOU get to be safe from vampires??? you're okay with me getting my blood sucked???? so we took a little trip to the catholic store but the one closest to us was run by a group of nuns that had been moved here from romania. I got a little baby pink cross and this sweet old nun was like 'aww, is this a baptism gift?' and I was like no. I need to be protected from vampires. and she immediately got SO serious and was like 'this is the best one we've got, you'll definitely be safe' and since she was literally from vampire land I was convinced she was like, van helsing. like the whole time my parents had been laughing about how cute my fear was but she literally Knew dracula and was taking my concerns seriously I held this over my parents for so long lmfao

TSC addresses the concept of immortality in a superior way, and you cannot convince me otherwise. The fact that we’ve gotten to see lifetimes of love and loss with Magnus and Tessa is so uniquely beautiful and heartbreaking. They’re not surrounded by other immortals to live out long immortal lives together. We’re not seeing just a glimpse of their lives that makes things lose context. It’s so special because we’ve seen them falling in love with mortals over the course of multiple lifetimes, but also seen the ruin of the loss of multiple lifetimes. We feel the dread of knowing their current loved ones will one day be just another memory. It is just so compelling and so well done.

if you have a boyfriend and you start liking another guy you dont actually have to break up. basically you can put the first boyfriend in the bathroom and close the door, and then bring the second guy into the house and let them get used to each other's smells through the door. if you supervise them for the first couple weeks, they should eventually get along or at least not kill each other while youre away.
