secrecy
jjk megumi fushiguro x fem!reader
hiding your relationship from your loudmouth friends and your energetic teacher is harder than it seems.
content: fluff, established/secret relationship, aged!up megumi (16/17 years old)
warning: there is implied/suggestive content because teenagers do stuff (come on, we all know that) but itâs not written out. yuji and nobara get the wrong idea and tease the hell out of megumi, thatâs all!

meeting up after classes are over is always hard.
yuji and nobara are insistent in their spots between the two of you. yuji stays glued to megumiâs side and nobara sneaks her way in between you two. itâs a surprise that neither of them have caught on yet.
megumiâs sudden confession had been blurted out from the doorway of your dorm. you both had been in a pretty gruesome fight; you had needed stitches despite shoko using reverse cursed technique on you, and megumi was injured with a slight limp. heâd been worried even though you paid your wounds no mind.
âtake care of yourself,â heâd said through gritted teeth. âi care about you more than you think.â
it had been out of pity more than anything; he had walked you to your room, believing it was his fault that youâd nearly been killed.
still, you acknowledged the warm words through his usual gruffness.
that had led you to today, with yuji and nobara arguing between the two of you. you want nothing more than to relax in your dorm with megumiâs head on your chest, running your fingers through his messy black hair. heâs got a knack for nuzzling into you, breathing in your scent and peppering kisses along your collarbone. itâs his way of telling you he loves you.
âso what dâya wanna do then?â nobara huffs, frustrated.
âyou just said no to every single restaurant i recommended. why donât you choose?â yuji whines.
nobara crosses her arms. âiâm not choosing because youâre gonna say no.â
âthatâs not true,â yuji deflects, furrowing his brows. âi just told you, i donât care where we eat.â
âiâm gonna head back,â megumi says, clearing his throat. âiâve got a mission tomorrow and i wanna get some sleep.â
itâs an obvious excuse, at least to you. megumi isnât lying, though; he has to visit a train station tomorrow to get rid of a nasty curse thatâd been formed from an accident. itâs overgrown and estimated to at least be a grade 1 curse, so megumi is being sent by himself because gojo trusts that he can handle it smoothly. megumi is a grade 1 sorcerer, after all, and lately gojo has been trying to get him reevaluated as a special grade.
âyou guys have fun,â you announce shortly after megumi trudges away. âiâm gonna go finish my book before my sparring session with maki.â
âwhatttt?!â nobara groans. âmaki said she was gonna hang with me! someone isnât telling the truth and i know itâs you!â
you cringe, knowing youâve been caught in your lie. âoh, thatâs right. the session is tomorrow.â
âif you or megumi arenât going then i wonât go either!â yuji pouts.
âwhat was the point of us walking all the way out here?â nobara smacks him on the back of his head. âwhatever! iâm going to find maki. maybe sheâll wanna eat with me.â
âthe third years arenât gonna hang with you, loser,â yuji says, sticking his tongue out at her.
nobara responds by flicking him off over her shoulder. sheâs already long gone by the time you and yuji bid your goodbyes. you take your time on the way back to your dorm, shuffling your feet against the pavement as slowly as you can. the last thing you want is to catch up to yuji on your way to the boysâ dormitory.
you take a quick look around once you start to get close to megumiâs dorm. the sun beams down at you and you begin to sweat nervously. youâve done this plenty of times before, but it still makes your nerves jitter.
the coast is clear. the bushes donât seem to be hiding anyone. there doesnât seem to be a person hiding behind any corners. you make a run for it, nimbly skipping toward the boysâ dormitories. you make a beeline for megumiâs door, which is the furthest one at the end of the hall. yujiâs dorm is across from his, so you make sure your footsteps arenât too loud. you tap on the doorframe four times, a signal youâd unknowingly came up with in the weeks you and megumi have snuck into each otherâs rooms.
megumi swings the door open, his face brightening as he pulls you in. he wastes no time in burying himself into the crook of your neck, inhaling your comforting scent.
âgod, i was hoping theyâd leave without us back there,â he sighs into your neck. âit took you so long to shake âem off.â
your lips stretch into a pretty grin, and megumi nearly melts at the sight. you ruffle his hair and press a kiss onto his redden cheek. âiâm here now, arenât i?â
megumi wouldâve cringed had it been any other couple, but itâs you and him, and all the sweet words you two whisper make him adore the cheesiness of the relationship. he takes you by the hand and nearly crushes you as he lays the both of you down.
napping together is a common occurrence for the two of you. itâs not like you can waltz out with your fingers interlocked because gojo would make fun of you both for the rest of your lives. dating as a jujutsu sorcerer is hard enough, and you two would rather not add him into the mix.
âare you sleepy?â you ask softly. youâre trapped in between his toned arms, your face pressing into his firm chest.
he hums. âyou mind?â
ânot at all,â you say with a small laugh. âbut you gotta get up before dinner, âkay?â
you feel him nod. âyeah, just wake me up.â
ââkay.â
the silence is comfortable, as if youâve known him for longer than you actually have. he lets himself go when heâs around you, and that fact makes you more prideful than it should. thereâs something about megumi fushiguro allowing you to see his vulnerable side that makes you feel all the more important. the boy never, ever removes the scowl off his face unless heâs with you.
âneed to take off my clothes,â you complain. âiâm all sweaty from today. gojo sensei had me run a few laps âcause nobara snitched about me returning to my room late.â
the corner of megumiâs mouth lifts. âthatâs why i told you to leave before sunset. see what happens when you donât listen?â
you shove his shoulder and unseal yourself from his hold, giving him a glare. âyou were the one asking me to stay, you idiot. now give me a shirt.â
he pretends to be annoyed, mumbling something under his breath as he reaches for a shirt hung on the end of his headboard.
âa clean one.â you give him a pointed look.
âi thought you liked my smell?â he looks at you through his lashes.
âyour smell, megumi, not your sweat,â you deadpan.
he lets out a laugh and it sounds like music to your ears. perhaps this is what the world means when they say love makes you a different person.
he obliges and walks to his drawer. megumi is changed himself: loose sweatpants hanging on his waist lowly. he has on a white t-shirt and the necklace you had gifted him a week prior. megumi hands you one of his sweaters, which is oversized, but itâs the best he can do. youâd rather not go back to your dorm to change.
megumi turns around so that you can change. heâs awkward and beet red, scratching his head in a moment of tenseness. you slip on his sweater and youâre immediately engulfed in his warm scent. the fabric nearly drowns you as you take off your pants.
âdo you have any shorts?â you ask, scanning the room.
megumiâs back is still turned to you. âyou took those ones back to your room, remember? did you bring them?â
you shake your head, but then remember that he canât see you. you duck your head in embarrassment, laughing lightly. ânah, but itâs fine. the shirtâs basically a dress anyway.â
megumi hears the sheets rustle and makes a bold assumption to turn around. heâs met with you sprawled out on the bed, patting the empty space next to you as a wordless invitation.
his eyes crinkle when he grins, which is not something you see everyday. you savor the moment and engrave it into your memory. itâll make you giddy when you remember it tonight as you get ready for bed.
âlove you,â you whisper, making yourself comfortable in his embrace. you feel his fingers caress your arm in loving patterns.
megumi pauses for a split second, but itâs long enough for you to notice. he still has a hard time using his words, but youâre in no rush to change that part of him.
âi love you, too,â he replies in a small voice.
âwhen did you get so corny?â you tease, your eyes fluttering shut.
âyouâre being irritating,â he says. you can tell just from the way he puffs out a little breath that heâs rolling his eyes in distaste. âitâs your fault for making me all gross and corny. yuji would never stop making fun of me if he saw us right now.â
âmegumi!â a knock interrupts him. itâs yuji, who calls from outside the door. âgojo-sensei needs us real quick! read your damn text messages for once!â
megumi freezes and your head perks up. your eyes are wide with fear and slight amusement. this has never happened before. megumi presses a finger to your lips, shushing you, before he yells out an irritated, âwhat does he want?â
âhe says we gotta go see him in his office! check your phone.â yujiâs voice is muffled. he bangs on the door once more.
your breathing is shallow. thereâs a sort of excitement in the air at the thought of possibly being caught, but the anxiety of it all overpasses that. you refuse to move, afraid that the loud sheets will give it away to yuji that youâre in the same bed as megumi.
âis the door locked?â you whisper lowly.
megumiâs eyes narrow. âi⌠i think so. i donât know.â
âwhat do you mean you donât know?â
âi was excited to see you⌠iâm notâi donât remember locking it.â
âiâm sure you did,â you convince yourself out loud, âyou always do.â
âand tell y/n that sheâs gotta come out too!â nobaraâs voice rings out.
you feel your body grow hot in humiliation.
once youâre all in gojoâs office, the white-haired man gives you and megumi a hard stare. he has a lazy smirk plastered on his face, his blindfold pushed down on his neck solely so that he can show off the mischievous glint in his eyes.
âlet me make one thing clear,â gojo begins, âno boys in the girlsâ dorms.â
yuji scrunches his nose.
âand no girls in the boysâ dorms. we all know this already, donât we?â
âduh. is that all?â nobara says, shifting her weight on to her left leg. she looks amused.
ây/n,â gojo says, causing your eyes to flicker up at him, ârun 30 laps. youâve broken the rules.â
your jaw drops open. it had been embarrassing enough to quickly throw on your pants and rush out of megumiâs room with nobara and yujiâs smug faces trailing behind you.
âno buts,â he adds when he notices your apprehension.
you frown.
âiâll take half,â megumi mutters, the annoyance leaking into his tone. âsheâll do 15 and iâll do 15. we both broke the rules, so punish us fairly.â
gojoâs smirk widens. âi wasnât finished, fushiguro. youâre gonna run 30 as well⌠but i guess itâs 45 now? isnât that sweet of you? protecting your girl~â
âgojo-sensei⌠y/n is wearing megumiâs shirtâŚâ yuji pretends to gag. âwe all know what thatââ
megumi shoots a glare at him. if eyes could kill, yuji would be six feet under. âdonât be fucking gross, yuji. itâs not like that.â
you tug at his t-shirt, eyes averting gojoâs. megumiâs behavior is only going to punish the two of you more. the whole situation is already making you want to curl up into a ball and die, and you want it to be over with already.
âoh my god, youâre right, yuji. thatâsâŚ. thatâs very scandalous.â nobara brings a hand to cover her opened mouth.
âdonât piss me off,â megumi threatens. âitâs not anything like what you two are thinking. donât be weird about it.â
gojo opens his mouth to speak, but megumi is quicker. he drags you out of the office and the two of you make it to the track field. the red of the field matches the red in megumiâs face. itâs ridiculously hilarious now that youâre really looking at it.
âletâs run our laps. 15 for you, 45 for me.â
you giggle and pull him in for a kiss. âthank you, megumi, but i can handle 30 just fine. we just have to get better at sneaking around, donât we?â
âyeahâŚâ he says, his composure breaking. âah, whatever. they know anyway. letâs just start going out, hm? they canât control us outside of school grounds.â
from somewhere inside the school, you can hear nobara celebrate over winning $50.

- Oikawa Tooru x Reader
- SFW; slightly suggestive
Oikawa blinks.
You huff, your cheeks turning even more red.
Downstairs, your mother yells if you want a snack.
"You want me to what?" the setter asks, face blank, and you groan and throw a pillow at him, that he quickly catches and places on his lap.
"I want you to show me how to kiss!" you say again, embarrased and very much uncomfortable.
Oikawa blinks again, and then a mocking grin takes hold of his face "Ahhhhh! Don't tell me that you've never kissed anyone before!"
This time, the pillow you throw at him hits him straight in the face.
Iwaizumi Hajime would be the perfect boyfriend. You wrote it on your journal, the first time you met him. That journal that you always buy at the beginning of every year, only to forget in the back of some drawer.
He's nice, and smart, and a helpful and trustworthy person.
Responsible.
Mature.
Serious.
Basically, everything your childhood friend and neighbor Oikawa Tooru isn't.
"Why didn't you ever introduced me to him before?" you say to Oikawa, on your first day of high school.
The future captain shrugs, only half listening to the principal's welcome speech "I don't know. Why would I?"
"Because we're both your childhood friends?"
"I don't follow"
You roll your eyes and give up. You have time to get to know him.
Three years later, you don't have time anymore and you don't even know how to approach a guy. Oikawa is back at your house, looking at you seriously, wearing his glasses and a jacket that looks exactly like one you have. You remember when he bought it, in one of your trips together to the mall.
"If you start laughing at me again, I'll punch you" you warn him, and he nods, clearing his throat and scooping closer to you, until your knees are touching.
"I won't this time. I promise"
"Fine"
"I'm just still surprised that you've never..."
"Tooru!"
"Fine, fine!" he complies, raising his hands up in a peace offering. When his eyes find yours again, you start to sweat "Relax"
"Easy for you to say. You've kissed many girls before"
"And that's why you wanted me as your teacher, right?"
"I would hardly call you a..."
He claps. "Don't interrupt Oikawa-sensei!"
You groan, aggressively rubbing a hand over your face.
You knew this was a doomed idea since the beginning. It would be much better to just pay more attention to romance movies, or even asking your mom for advice, than going to the ever annoying Oikawa for any help.
It's your own fault. You don't have any more guy friends.
You stand up quickly, walking straight to your bedrooms door "Forget it! I knew this wouldn't work! Just leave!"
Oikawa moves to trap you between the door and his body in the blink of an eye, and before your complains can fully die down on your tongue, he's tipping your chin up and grazing your lips with his.
It's a fluttering, delicate feelingâ and you're hyper aware of his scent, and the way his hands are so big on your shoulders, and how soft his lips actually are.
You soon forget to worry about your chapped ones, when your childhood friend moans unashamedly, deepening the kiss, and you close your eyes because the sensation is just too much and too strong.
He speaks against your lips when he's done, his hands still keeping you in place "You were right" he says, voice husky and warm, and you look up to make sure that it's the same Oikawa Tooru that's always teasing you "You need a lot of practice"
The next day the sun shines a little bit brighter, and the sky is a little bit more blue. The coat you wear to school is red, the same color of your cheeks when your eyes meet Oikawa's on the hall. He takes a step towards you, hand raised mid air, but Iwaizumi is suddenly behind him, smacking him on the head and belittling him about something.
You smile, confident, and stride towards them.
"Good morning, Iwaizumi-chan!"
He stops, and looks at you confused, before clearing his throat and nodding your way "Good morning"
"It's good to see you! And I was wondering if you wanted to do our next science project with me? I'm very good at those type of things"
"I am too" Oikawa pipes up, arms behind his head, but you ignore him in favor of Iwaizumi and his increasingly confused face.
"So what do you say?" you ask again, and the wind-spiker stutters.
"I... alway do my projects with Oikawa"
You try not to let the answer discourage you, and instead place a hand on his forearm. Iwaizumi's eyebrows shot up so fast that you almost don't register the movement.
"Well, what about changing partners this time?"
"Alright..."
Oikawa slaps your hand away and unceremoniously pushes the two of you towards the classroom.
"I need more teaching" you say, and he looks up from his book to frown at you "Did you see how I acted yesterday? I've never even talked to him before! Sure, some 'Goodmorning' and 'How are you?' here and there. But nothing like that! Knowing how to kiss gave me confidence!"
"Oh, believe me" Oikawa drawls, turning the page "I saw how you acted"
"And what did you think?" you ask, coming to sit in front of him in bed.
Oikawa closes the book and puts it aside, crossing his arms over his chest "Pathetic" he deadpans.
"What? No way! I was full of confidence!"
"Yeah, well... I just don't think it worked that well"
You purse your lips, moving closer to him. Oikawa eyes you wearily, but still slowly opens his legs so you can crawl in between them.
"That's why I need more practice. And you even said it yourself!"
"But..."
"Should I ask someone else?"
He silences you with a kiss, pulling you close to his chest and digging his fingers on your waist. When you're done, flustered and out of breath, he pecks you one last time before pushing some loose strands behind your ear.
"Fine. I'm not gonna let you embarrass yourself like that. I'm a good friend"
Your days only get even better from then on. You start talking with Iwaizumi more. You feel like you're finally on your way for some progress. School goes great and you even manage to make some new friends on your club.
Being in love is sure a rejuvenating feeling, and more when you now have the confidence to act upon it.
That's why you keep practicing with Oikawa, of course. And what started in your room soon behind yo take place anywhere.
On his room.
On the park.
On the way back home.
On the volleyball's team changing room.
"Open your mouth" he whispers, and you comply in a flash, looking at him from under your lashes.
Oikawa grins, pushing you harder against his crotch, and his mouth finds yours in a dance that leaves you dizzy and only wanting more. You clutch onto his sweaty t-shirt for some sort of stability, and he holds your face in both of his hands while he deepens the kiss.
"Fuck...â you're just so..." he moans, coaxing your tongue out to play "I could just kiss you all day"
"Am I good enough now?" you ask, following his lips when he parts, leaning his head back to look at you.
"I don't know... I don't know..." he ponders, his hands absentmindedly rubbing your hips "I think you still need some practice"
"Yeah?"
"Yeah, so..." he says, and licks his lips before turning you to the side and making you lie on the bench. His hair is a mess and hanging all over his face when he places both of his hands beside your head "Let's keep kissing"
You convince Iwaizumi to walk home together with you and Oikawa a week before exams start. You make sure to brush your hand against his all the time, and even make some jokes to try and get a reaction out of him. You get a smirk and some offhanded comments, but he seems more intent on talking about volleyball and the future of the team.
You pout, and kick a peeble on the road before gazing up at Oikawa.
He's paying zero attention to whatever Iwaizumi is talking about, his eyes instead trained on the way your fingers touch with the wind-spiker's as you walk. For some reason, your first reaction is to put your hand away, moving both of your arms behind your back.
"Are you even listening to me, Shittykawa?" Iwaizumi asks, enraged, when Oikawa leans back to stick his tongue out to you behind his back.
"Not really, Iwa-chan"
You laugh the rest of the way home at Iwaizumi's reaction, but Oikawa doesn't seems so amused.
"Tooru..." you call him, your hands trembling on his back, when his lips latch onto your neck and pull, hard, before soothing the skin with his tongue "This isn't..."
"This are kisses too" he explains, voice low. You try to squirm, but he keeps you pinned against the empty classroom wall with one of his fists, the other one caressing down your side. "I thought you wanted to learn"
"Yes... but..."
His tongue traces a path from your ear to your collarbone, before coming up once more to nibble at your jaw. "You taste so sweet..."
"Tooru..."
"Shut up" he snaps, his free hand covering your mouth, and his lips continuing their assault by moving towards your ear. "Shut up, just shut up... I need to... be the one that touches you this time"
You moan, throwing your head back when he licks your earlobe and then goes back to leave open mouth kisses on the side of your neck.
You wonder how it would feel to do something like that with Iwaizumi, and even tho his face never comes to your mind, you end up saying his name against Oikawa's fingers.
The setter moves away from you as if he had been burnt, and you're not sure about why you feel the need to immediately apologize.
"Tooru..."
"I... dont want to this anymore today"
Kissing practices come to a full stop after that, and you feel yourself getting sadder with each passing day. You reason that it's probably your confidence, slipping away now that you cannot practice your technique with Oikawa, and so you decide that before you lose all your newfound bravado, you'll finally confess to Iwaizumi.
Oikawa looks at you, eyes empty and head tilted to the side, as you explain in detail how the best place to confess is the school rooftop, and that you've seen in it on many animes before.
"I see" it's all he says "Good luck with that then"
So you slip a piece of paper with the hour and the place between Iwaizumi's books, and avoid his gaze the rest of the day, not wanting him to think you're too desperate. When the last class is over, you rush to gather your things and fly to the rooftop, knowing that you still have a full twenty minute advantage before he finally comes to meet you, and then fifteen minutes more before his practice starts, to confess and gauge at his reaction.
But he never comes.
You wait ten, fifteen, twenty minutes, and finally sit down on the floor and take out your phone to text your friends, just to kill some of the time you have in your hands.
Maybe he'll come when he's done with practice.
Maybe you wrote the time wrong.
Maybe it wasn't his notebook at all.
Is Oikawa's face the one that peaks from the crack on the slightly open door, to find you with your earphones on and your back against the wall.
"Hey"
"Is practice over?" you ask, and watch him close the door behind him with his foot, his hands on his pocket. He regards you for a long time before nodding "Ahm... do you know where Iwaizumi is?"
"Iwa-chan is on his way home now"
You plug your earphones off and stand up, frowning. Oikawa only stares at you with a somehow vacant expresion on his face "What? But... didn't he... I left him a note to meet me here!"
"Yeah"
"Then why did he left?"
"Because I took the note out of his notebook before he could see it" Silence, and the wind blowing around you. You open your mouth to say something, but you don't really know what. Oikawa beats you to it. "Say... do you want to know why?"
"Well... yeah? Why would you do that?"
Oikawa looks at the darkening sky for a moment, his hair falling away from his eyes, and then looks back at you with a small sad smile that reminds you of the time when he lost against Karasuno.
Your first instinct is to hold him, and you hug yourself to try and stay in place, because you're waiting for an explanation and not comforting him.
"Because I'm in love with you"
You take an automatic step back, and you think the light on his eyes dies a little at the motion, but you shouldn't care about that. You shouldn't care about anything but the anger that comes bubbling up and spills from your throat.
Because how dare he?
"You're my best friend. You cannot be in love with me"
"Yeah, that's what I used to think too"
"Used to?" you ask, and Oikawa shakes his head and chuckles softly.
"Well, this has been going on for quite a awhile I guess"
"You had a girlfriend!" you scream, and he's so taken aback by your sudden outburst that he straightens his back, taking an unsure step towards you "I was her friend! You told me you liked her! And you were sad when you two broke up!"
"Well I had to find someone!" he defends himself, watching as you chew on your bottom lip "You wouldn't stop talking about Iwa-chan! What was I supposed to do?"
"Using someone like that is disgusting!"
"Just like you've been using me all this time!" he screams, and you snap your mouth shut, your eyes filling with unshed tears.
He's right.
You've been using him.
You thought it was just help, but it wasn't.
Maybe what you two have been doing was always wrong.
"You're right" you say at last, and hear him make a pained sound before walking past him and opening the door, your eyes on the floor "I'm sorry, Tooru"
The days are nothing but a blur after that. You avoid Oikawa like the plague, and he seems content enough with sneaking glances at you on the hallway, and when you get up from your seat to go to the bathroom. Your mom keeps asking you why you don't go and come home from school with him over dinner, and everytime you can only shrug and look at the picture on the counter, the one with two little kids playing on a backyard.
Everything is grey, even the sky. Winter has arrived faster than ever, and so you bundle up and walk to school without anyone to chat animatedly about his favorite TV show by your side.
On monday, Iwaizumi's waiting for you in front of your locker.
"Look" he says, scratching the back of his neck and looking as if he would like to be anywhere but there "I know it's not my place, but I just wanted to know if I need to beat Shittykawa on the head or something"
"I don't follow" you say, ignoring the way your heart beats faster at Oikawa's mention.
"He's been moody and gloomy and he's depressing everyone. We're about to graduate and now more than ever, the team needs some spirit" Iwaizumi explains, and you nod, only caring about the part where he says that Oikawa has been sad.
You imagine him pouting, crawling under your covers, a pained 'Can I just stay like this with you for a while?' in your ear, that lets you know that something went wrong.
"I see. But why are you asking me?"
Iwaizumi looks at you incredulously "Well... you two had a fight, right?"
"And how would you know that?"
"I mean, it's pretty obvious. Seeing him and all..." then he stops, clearing his throat and flushing pink "Look, it's not like I'm worried about him or anything, but I would like to know if he did something to you, so I can beat the crap out of him and... make him go back in track. I can even make him apologize"
"It wasn't him" you say, and Iwaizumi lifts his eyes from the ground to watch you curiously "It was me"
When his friend finally leaves, your eyes meet Oikawa's on the other side of the hallway. He quickly ducks away, and you stand in front of your locker feeling utterly lost.
It's raining the next day, and you don't have an umbrellaâ in your hand the only thing that rests is the letter Oikawa left in your locker.
'I'm going to forget you, don't worry. So we can just go back to the way we were before I put my feet in my mouth and confessed how I felt for you. Until then, maybe it's best if we just don't talk that much'
You want to tear it and stomp on it, but you don't â instead watching the rain slide down the street. It looks pretty, and inviting, and you really dont want to stay there any longer, holding the words your best friend left for you on your locker, so you take one step forward, two more, and then start walking under the rain.
It's extremely poetic and totally fit for your sullen mood, until you hear someone screaming your name from behind, and turn around to watch Oikawa running towards you, his hair a wet mess and his clothes as saggy as your own, an unopened umbrella on his hands.
He stops in front of you, breathing harshly, his red rimmed eyes searching your face.
"Tooru?" you ask, and you're talking about his disheveled appearance and the umbrella he's not using, but he shakes his head and grabs your right hand, the one where the letter is, to try to make you open it.
"Please, give me that back" he pleads, his fingers trying and failing to coax your hand open. You try to shake him off, but he only pulls harder. "Please! Give me that back!"
"Stop! What's wrong?"
"I want the letter back! I want you to give it back to me and pretend you never read it!"
"But you said you didn't wanted to talk to me for a while! You said I was using you!"
"I don't care!" he cries, desperately grabbing onto your arm, a sob shaking his whole body when he finally gives up, and just holds onto you, defeated "I don't care! I take it back! I take everything back!"
"Tooru..."
"I don't want to keep being away from you! I can't! I need you!" he sobs, his trembling hand still closed around your wrist "You can use me! Use me all you want but please! Please... I don't want to be away from you anymore"
You kiss him hard, and he stumbles back surprised before whining, his arms bringing you close to his chest. He keeps crying, even while you peck his lips and his cheeks and go back to kiss him fully on the lips, your mouth moving in perfect synchrony with his.
"Tooru, I don't want to be away from you anymore either" you say, and he sniffs and hides his face on your hair "I'm sorry"
"It's alright"
"Tooru"
He shakes his head, hugging you tightly "It's alright"
"Tooru, you need to let me talk"
"I don't wanna"
"Tooru, I think that I'm not in love with Iwaizumi after all"
He stills, his body going rigid against you, and when he leans his head back to watch you, he looks about ready to combust into tears again.
"Iwa-chan was at least my friend but please don't tell me I have to help you practice for anyone else!"
You make him shut up with another kiss, laughing happily, and only on the way homeâ when the sun is already outâ you explain to him that maybe, just maybe, the reason why your days were brighter after every kissing practice, was because of him.
