Covid-19 can’t hurt them. They’re protected by the utter, endless love of their muns, I mean, cough.

What Neill promised was exactly what was done. In ten minutes or so, the boy was out of the bathroom and in new, more appropriate clothes to go out. His face looked fresh, his hair was very well combed and his expression gave the impression he was, well, a more decent person than he was a moment ago.

“Chinese food? Okay. Though… is it okay if I order something else? I’m not in the mood of Chinese food right now.” Not for any particular reason. It was more the fact that traditional food allured him the most unless he later changed his mind.

“Can I use that Halloween mask mom bought for me when I was 12?” He chuckled. It was only a joke.

“Come on, let’s go.”

- You can use whatever! Im going full kitty mask, Let`s go! - The excited red haired girl jumped around, hugging the arm of her brother. -We can pass the food court in the Mall, there we can pick what to eat -

It was in the morning. Not really early but not so late either… Truth be told, Neill didn’t even know which day of the week was nor did he check the clock. The voice of the girl was like the alarm to wake him up from his deep slumber. All after he went to sleep past midnight.

What Brigitte found on the bed was untidy sheets and a disoriented, confused recently-woken Neill sitting up with his hair being a mess.

“What?” Neill’s voice left his mouth weakly, husky and soft. He had his eyes half-closed, with an expression of not understanding what was going on.

“Okay? Animal Crossing? Where? Just give me a moment; I’ll be ready in 10 minutes…” He murmured.

The girl let out a victory mini scream before jumping out of the bed, going to the kitchen to make a super-fast to-go breakfast for both.

He packed the food in a lunch box looking at his brother when he entered the room.

- Neil, mom and dad are sleeping now, but she order us to bring Chinese food when we return – Brigitte was so excited about this, that she almost forgot about the pandemic going on right now.

- Yeah! Mask, we need some more – there is no infected right now in the country but, you never know.
