I’ve recently decided to take a venture into making art one of my staple sources of income.  It’s always been a passion of mine and I finally got over the forced mindset that it will only ever be a hobby. By putting up commissions, I’ll be able to make ends meet. And so here I am promoting my art blog to you guys. I hope to get your support! :D  COMMISSION DETAILS:

Pieces may be finished sooner or later (a few days to less than four weeks) depending on complexity. But regardless of time requirement, prices will remain the same as indicated. :) 

Additional human/humanoid characters will cost an extra 60% of the original price. 

Detailed backgrounds will cost anywhere between $10-$20

Companion creatures (like Pokemon) are free if small enough. Medium to large creatures will cost $5-$10/

History PSA

I’m a fan of Type Moon. But I can’t deny how shitty their fact checking is, especially when it comes to world history. Here’s one to start with. I originally had this as a response to a post but I’ll just go ahead and copy-paste it here:

  Francis Drake was not the first person to circumnavigate the world. This is information erroneously spread by Type Moon for some reason. He was indeed the most well-documented navigator, by nature of being English. But he wasn’t the pioneer. He  carried out the second circumnavigation of the world  from 1577 to 1580, and was the first person to complete a circumnavigation as captain but certainly not the first person to. The honor belongs to the Magellan-Elcano expedition - a Spanish excursion from 1519 to 1522  first led by the Portuguese navigator Ferdinand Magellan and then later on by Juan Sebastian Elcano. Magellan himself was not able to continue the journey but his ship “Victoria” survived along with 18 out of its 42-man crew (The entire expedition itself used to have 260)  and was able to return to its origin under Elcano’s leadership. Another strong candidate was Enrique de Malacca, a Malay slave under Ferdinand Magellan who’s origin was of the Moluccas in Indonesia. While not initially being part of any expedition, he nonetheless traveled westward from his homeland to Spain upon his capture and then accompanied Magellan’s voyage even further westward in its quest to circumnavigate the world through the pacific.

Welcome Heroes & Villains Alike To Halvalla! 

General Information

We’re a multi-fandom, multi-verse role-play community. The general premise behind Fractured Heroes is that warriors from across several universes were swallowed up by an ominous cloud in the sky created by Galactus, the devourer of worlds. For reasons unknown, Galactus has transported those deemed worthy to a world known as Halvalla.

Getting Started

Please submit your character application! Once you’ve been accepted into the guild post an introduction, so we can promote your arrival on Halvalla!

Additionally, while the heroes have been scattered across the land, the villains were taken to a secret location for purposes that will remain unknown for now.

In the coming days, the admins will be opening three skype chats; a general chat, a heroes chat, and an villains chat. The general chat will be primarily for OOC, while the other two will be for plotting.

Mod Talks: Farewell

In my hiatus I was able to think things over. I will depart from the community after all.  This is a decision I’ve made after a significant amount of time going under the radar and observing things from afar. Doing so had been initially very difficult, painful even, given how much I cared for the group and its members. I have made great friends in it and cutting of the link that lead me to them is not an easy choice. All in all, it had been a wonderful experience being with everyone. The group had been a great support to me for most of last year. It helped me get my mind off of the stresses and trials of real life. It helped me learn how to be a better person, friend, and mentor.  But all things come to an end, even the good ones.  All my MHGW accounts, @motherfuckingemiya (Archer EMIYA), @motherfuckinghoundofculann (Lancer Cu Chulainn), and @motherfuckingmazeguardian (Minotaur) will be taken out of the roster and these characters shall be available for those who wish to RP as them. I can only hope doing this won’t mean I’ll lose the friendships built during that time. It’s my sincere wish that you keep in touch. I’ll always be there for anyone who would need me.  With that said, I guess this is goodbye.  Thank you, MHGW, for being an awesome part of my life here on Tumblr and going past that limitation into something that’s affected my life in more ways than one. The Return of a King

A boat seemed to be above the city, not that anyone could truly see it. The man commanding said boat looked over the surrounding area with a certain fondness like he had been here before. With no memory of why or how he had been taken away from this place, he had remembered everything that happened during his stay. His staff clicked on the wood he was positioned on as he stood up and looked out over the place called Fuyuki.

“I guess it’s going to be this way again. Surely the people here haven’t forgotten me. Even with where ever I had been dragged into or away from, I remember this place very well…I have a few people I must apologize to. Surely that will be what I do first.”

A Visit from Father Kotomine

‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all thro’ the house Not a servant was stirring, not even a Gil; The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, In hopes that Father Kotomine soon would be there; The Masters and children were nestled all snug in their coffins beds, While visions of Holy Grails danc’d in their heads,

And Archer with his swords, and I in my cap,

Had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap —

When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter, I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter. Away to the window I flew like a flash, Tore open the shutters, and turned on a light The moon on the breast of the new fallen snow, Gave the luster of mid-day to objects below; When, what to my wondering eyes should appear, But a miniature sleigh, and one angry Lancer, With a such a smug driver, so lively and full of meaning, I knew in a moment it must be Father Kotomine! More rapid than black keys his coursers they came, And he whistled, and shouted, and call’d out by name: “Every dog has his day,” “DONT CALL ME A DOG;” “To the top of the porch! To the top of the wall! “Now lance away! Lance away! Lance away all!” As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly, When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky; So up to the house-top the coursers they flew, With the sleigh full of toys — and Father Kotomine too: And then in a crash, I heard on the roof The yelling and whining of each little move. As I drew in my head, and was turning around, Down the chimney Father Kotomine came with a bound: He was dress’d all in black, from his head to his foot, And his clothes were not tarnish’d with ashes and soot; A bundle of toys was flung on his back, And he look’d like a peddler just opening his pack: His eyes — how they had no emotion! His face: how merry, His cheeks were like the snow, his nose like a cherry; His smug little mouth was drawn up like a bow, And the mullet of his head was as brown as the dirt; The art of command seals he held tight on his arm, And the red glow lit up his arm like a tree. He had a broad face, and a little santa hat That shook when he laugh’d, though not very often; He was quick and quiet, a right Fake Priest And I gasped when I saw him in spite of myself; A wink of his eye and a twist of his head Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread. He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work, And fill’d all the stockings; then turn’d with a jerk, And taking a deep breath; then lowering his legs And giving a nod, up the chimney he jumped. He sprung to his sleigh, to his servant gave a whistle,

”I will kill you by the end of this night Master”; And away they all flew, like the down of a thistle: But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight — Rejoice to all, and to all a good night.

MHGW Secret Santa for @motherfuckingbewitchingserpent It took me a while to decide on what to draw but I eventually ended up with a holiday theme. xD I hope you like it!

Notice

I mentioned in a previous post that I shall be leaving the MHGW.  After two days of thinking it over, I decided to instead put my blogs in an indefinite hiatus before I make my final call.  It has been difficult recently. Sad to say, things have come up that made me think that staying wasn’t worth the grief. But in the short time that I tried to isolate myself in my thoughts (yes, tried... a few friends wouldn’t let me), I realized that it may be worth it to at least wait it out just a bit longer. Drama sucks, don’t we all agree. lol But it only shows how much something has grown to people in a group, that its members are passionate and devoted enough to feel genuine emotion for the group’s well being, and that it has developed a significance in everyone. I recognize that development. And despite everything I still want the group to be happy in its growth.  With this, I will stay for now. Wishing, if nothing else, that it gets better over time.

ps: it sucks that you're leaving, this is a great blog, i hope the best of luck for you in the future and that who ever becomes the next mother fucking emiya is a at least half as great as you.
