you're sitting on dabi's lap, arms wrapped around his bare shoulders. his own hands lay on the bottom of your spine. he takes in your face with an unreadable expression, glowing blue eyes gliding over your features.
your hand slides down his shoulder and stops on the left side of his chest. you just let it rest here, not planning to move, nor do anything else.
his brows knit together in slight confusion.
"what are you doing?"
you take your time before you speak.
"just reminding you that you have a heart."
he's silent, eyes narrowing at your calm tone and ambiguous words.
"nice try." he scoffs dryly, not an ounce of enjoyment in his raspy voice. "but i have no need for it."
you meet his intense gaze with ease, showing him your own, soft one. something twists inside of him. it's a disgusting feeling.
"can i take it then?" you sound honest and serious, the question open and raw. you're not teasing. you mean it.
your hand never left its place. you feel his heart beginning to fasten its pace, beats echoing with pain against the walls of his ribcage.
he blinks.
"...i guess you can."

k soooo, i’m dumb and accidently deleted a ask that was sent to me, it was abt this mha au where mermaid shigaraki saves us as a child and we start to meet up at night after that and grow up together. I thought it was adorable so i made a very short text abt it, so here ya go (luckily i still have the text saved)
Ever since the day you met him, you never got a good nights rest, but it didn't matter, it didn't matter if it was for him
you arrived at the beach, beautiful as always
the moon, staring down at you, covering the beach with a glowing atmosphere, it all put you at ease
you sat down next to the shore, slightly flinching at the cold waves slighty touching your skin
"Hey...you there?" you mumbled softly, looking deeply into the salty water
"yea" a raspy voice awnsered from under the water
a figure sumirged from under the cold waves, he had messy sky blue hair and bright red at eyes that gave out both a warm yet intimidating presence. the tail attached to his body matched his chrimson eyes, truly a sight for sore eyes
"I missed you" you smiled
"Yea...me too"

I really hope you're not present when he describes you, because the words this man will use cut like knives.
Not even petty insults like “annoying” or “stupid”, just cold and heartbreaking insults, insults that would make the strongest people cry.
The thing is he doesn’t mean a single word he’s saying, he only says so people think he hates you, that way, people won’t try to use you against him
If he were to tell the truth, tell everyone how much he loves, god knows what people would do to you. He’s not willing to take that risk, not even for one second.
However, his façade breaks the moment someone insults you. If someone does so much as call you dumb, that person is a goner, after all—if someone insults you, then they insult his love, and he won’t stand for that

He’s really childish when describing you, almost like a 5 year old describing their idol.
He can and will talk about you for hours, never once losing that loving and admiring glow from his eyes.
He will go from describing your beautiful personality, a personality just as beautiful as your appearance.
Hawks also gets real offended if people say something like “their not that great”, he will go from acting childish and lovey dovey to an intimidating hawk ready to attack their prey.
Of course, he won’t hurt them, but he won’t talk to them after that either.

I have a dabi hc living rent free up in my brain so ima share it:
Ok. So—dabi can’t feel much on his scars, he can feel a little, but the sensation of touch is pretty muffled in his scars.
HOWEVER. His scar lines (the part where his skin and scars are stitched together) that shit is ticklish AS FUCK.
He’s not really that ticklish himself, but the feeling on your fingers tracing his staples make him feel some type of way. I mean that in both an innocent and non innocent way
The first time you did it you were laying on his lap after a long day, you had been hugging him for a while when suddenly he buried his face in your chest.
You tried to get him to show his face but he would not budge, eventually, he did look up at you, only for you to see an embarrassed expression in his eyes and a light pink appearing on the few parts of non burned skin on his face
He stared at you for a minute before sighing “your…your hand” you tilted your head and looked down, you were gently rubbing circles with your thumb on his wrist scar lines.
The moment you found out his weakness, you learned how to combat his teasing
Good job, he’s gonna kill you tho-

It's not canon but again I feel like if he trusts you enough Dabi will eat an ice cream cone you got him 🍦
He Won't Lick It Though He'll BITE It
Because due to his quirk he doesn't feel the cold so things like that can happen :

You entered the room smiling like a fool a chocolate ice cream in your hand. As you saw your boyfriend you couldn't help but add peps to your steps
"Look what I got you" you told him extending the cone towards him
"What the heck is that ?" he said, raising his eyebrow
"A delicious ice cream dumbass"
"I know what ot is you idiot-" you stopped him by shoving the cone into his stappled palm
He looked straight at you for a solid minute before raising the dessert towards his mouth. And he just SUNK his teeth in it before biting it as of it was a sandwich
"Are you sure you know what it is ?" you asked feeling the coldness of the ice cream on your own teeth 🥶🧊
He only smirked at you before biting it again, a small smile forming on his lips due to the sweetness of the chocolate flavour 🍫
