Using Neural Filters to colour correct
i’ve had a couple of people ask about how i’ve coloured the pocket dimension scenes so i thought i’d just do a run-through tutorial kind of thing to show it, rather than going through it with everyone separately.
so this is a tutorial for how i made this:

What can I do if the tags are broken?
We’ve all been there, unfortunately. But don’t worry, there’s something to do.
How do I know my tags are broken?
It takes from a few seconds to 3 minutes for your post to appear in the tags. If after 3 minutes your post still isn’t in the tags, there’s an issue. You can always try to post each gif individually to see if the issue comes from one gif or if it comes from your blog. Sometimes, a gif cannot appear on your dash either for some reasons.
Is only my main blog affected?
Unfortunately, not. If your post doesn’t appear it will affect all your sideblogs. It’s not a bad thing, because you can always try to post from an empty blog to see if your tags are broken without posting 15 times in a row from your main.
Is there a way for my post to appear in the tags?
Actually, yes, there’s one! It’s dumb but pretty easy. You just need to put an image that’s already in the tags. Don’t worry, I have the perfect image for you. You can put a transparent line after, before or in the middle of your gifs. You will find the transparent line in the middle of the two images.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You will find an example here (the line is after the caption) and you can always copy the transparent line from this post if you prefer. You can save the transparent line in your phone/computer and use it when you need it. Mine has been saved months ago and it still works.
Can I put the transparent line even if I already posted my gifset?
Absolutely, and your gifset will appear in the tags within a few minutes.
If you have any questions, ask me! Tumblr is weird

OLD PAPER LYRICS TUTORIAL
You will need:
A Serif font of your choice (I'm using DM Serif Display).
Old paper texture + Highlighter brushes (Link at the end).
Photoshop (I'm using Photoshop CC 2023).
Google Docs (or any other program/app for documents.)
Difficulty rating: ★★☆☆☆
The tutorial is under the cut. Like/reblog if it’s helpful.
1: Open a new document in your Photoshop in the size you want to make your edit. Mine is going to be 600x800px.
Tumblr media
2: Choose a lyric, a poem, any text you want to make your edit and copy the selected part. (It can be as longer as you want). I chose a small lyric of Champagne Problems from Taylor Swift.
3: Open Google Docs and paste the lyric/poem/text. Do it as many times as you want (the text needs to be large to compose the full edit — you also need to put the text all together). When you're done, it's going to look like this:
Tumblr media
4: Select the Horizontal Type Tool (or press "T") and dragging the mouse, select the whole area of the new document. Like this:
Tumblr media
5: Open Google Drive one more time, copy the whole text and paste at the selected text area on Photoshop. It's going to look something similar to this:
Tumblr media
5: Choose an old paper texture from the pack (or any other texture you want), copy the layer and paste on top of the document. Like this:
Tumblr media
6: Select the "Linear Burn" blending mode.
Tumblr media
And your edit it's gonna look like this:
Tumblr media
7: Select the Brush Tool (or press "B"), choose a brush highlighter from the Highligher Brushes Pack and create a new layer. Choose a color (#f5dc05) and brush on top of the text you want to highlight. (To make it easier, you can press Shift while you brush, to make a straight line). Then, it's gonna look ike this:
Tumblr media
8: Once again, use the "Linear Burn" but now to blend the brush layer. And it's done! Save your file in PNG for better quality.
This is my result:
Tumblr media
EXTRA TIPS:
Use the sharp mode of text for better results.
If you want other textures, you can search for them at freeimages, rawpixel and deviantart.

Adobe Photoshop CC 2020 (v21.0) - Windows
Important Note: Do not use this crack on any pre-existing or pre-installed version(s) of Photoshop on your PC as it is specific for this version and this version alone. In the event that you’re struggling to get through the steps or Photoshop is somehow not working properly, I am but a message away!
UPDATED VERSION HERE!!
1. Download from my mega.nz or from my Google Drive (never hesitate to let me know if either of the links no longer work!) 2. When done downloading, unzip it somewhere on your PC (Windows can do it for you, but otherwise, I personally use a program called 7ZIP), even your desktop works fine. 3.  Open the unzipped folder and double click/install the file called ‘Set-up (Click this)’and let the installation run. 4. When the installation hits 100%, everything should be done and functional. As it’s pre-cracked, there’s no extra effort required or additional steps to take. From hereon out, simply enjoy yourself, have fun and never hesitate to message me if you run into any problems!
Is your Photoshop closing upon startup? I had it too on one device; here’s the fix:
5. Since Adobe has the tendency to push new versions relatively quickly, they tend to initially come with their own share of glitches and this is one of them. If your Photoshop closes immediately once it launches; simply navigate to Adobe’s Creative Cloud website (or download it directly from my mega.nz account), download the installation and run the installation as per usual; only install this app and nothing more. This will fix the auto closing problem.
If you’d like, buy me a Kofi!

Is there a website to look up models or people  to draw, with gender, ethnicity, and age filters. (if possible)?
For example if a wanted to make a cartoon character realistic and use a real person for reference or to edit the photo to look like them?
I’ve been just googling  white 20s male, black female 40s etc. (can’t find any good references for kids either)  and been sifting through the results.

literally most things that people write off as just ‘textures’ to use in graphics are stolen & unsourced material created by artists or photographers NOT meant to be used as elements in projects without royalty payments. you can say ‘it’s just random tumblr posts they don’t care’ but you wouldn’t want someone to take your work and edit into their work so they can be praised for their beautiful style and creativity even if they just post it on social media w/o profit, would you?? so maybe if you browse pinterest or google images for pictures without finding the original source, you’re using images that you’re not allowed to use without realizing it.
you see it on here a lot especially in (i won’t link anything but i’m sure you know what i mean) those album track ‘aesthetics’ posts, au ‘aesthetic’ posts (you see these less in kpop, but where people use non-royalty free images to kinda craft a visual au), and even just rather typical graphics that have a lot of ‘texture’ elements. and texture packs too!! that’s often where the problem starts; people just collect images (often literal art), compile them in a folder w/o sources, then insist no one can repost those images w/o crediting the person who compiled them. what???
SO may i suggest some of my fave places you can get FREE, ROYALTY-FREE elements that are totally legal to use
creativemarket has 6 free high-quality resources (textures, brushes, fonts, etc), different every week! wow awesome i check it every week
search ‘freebie’ on behance. awesome stuff!!! lots of v nice templates textures and fonts
mockup zone freebies
unsplash: tons of very nice free photographs, not shitty stock photos
pexels: same idea. + they have an adobe plugin so you can get photos without closing your editor damn nice
pixelsquid is a super cool free program (again w a ps plugin that i love) with lottts of super cool hq 3d elements!
as to not make this too long: spoongraphics, lostandtaken (textures galore), pixeden, freebiesbug.
